  • It certainly does sound like a pretty good deal, loopy_lass - you've done well! :T

Remember, with o2 you can downgrade your contract by a tariff after 9 months to save you even more money (and continue to reduce it month by month). Needless to say, I've marked that date on my calendar! ;)

I know that you can reduce your tarrif down by one after nine months, but is it definatly true that you can keep going down by one every month after that ? The O2 advisor did not tell me about that, but it would be great if you can
  • Jugs, I read up on it the other day on the o2 website after I googled it and yes you can keep going down by one tariff each month after 9 months. :) The advisor won't tell you about it (unless you ask them), they want your money! ;)

  • Can someone tell me if you buy an iphone on ebay, does the warranty transfer to you? Or is it only valid for the person who originally owned it? Thanks

The warranty is with the phone not the owner so you will be fine. Always ask the seller if either the screen has been replaced or if either of the two water indicators (one in the headphone jack and one in the dock connector) have been activated. If they have the warranty is void anyway.

Hi, was able to upgrade on Vodafone in January but simply went on to a 30-rolling contract as wanted the Iphone but was waiting for it to come down in price if there was going to be a new one out this summer. Just checked the upgrades online and it seems they are now offering the Iphone 3GS Refurbished at a lower price.
Has anyone rang up to upgrade and got a better deal than the one they are offering on the website as this deal is to existing AND new customers? Like the O2 stories?

Bought an iPhone phone only 16GB 3GS £460 in the O2 store, as have a 30 day simplicity plan from my now in pieces 8800 saphire arte (last time I don't insure a phone)

I was on a 600 mins DOUBLED 600 texts DOUBLED and unlimited texts

They gave me the standard iPhone £25 - free internet, 1,200 mins, 1,200 text allowance (for abroad) free texts, free picture messages

Wasn't good enough. Threatened to return it and go on Orange because signal is a joke...I have

1,200 mins DOUBLED unlimited texts, unlimited picture messages, unlimited internet, 1,200 texts (for use abroad

30day contract - £25 a month for 2,400 minutes and all the unlimited things I need and a text allowance incase I text in Europe. Closest to this would be £45 unlimited plan but you don't get free picture messages

After some REALLY hard work I managed to get 'reboxed' iphone from O2 on a last chance, 'sort me out now or I'll leave' deal. FREE 3gs 16gb iphone. £23 a month, 300 mins, unlimited txts and unlimited internet and wifi. It is a 24month contract but its by far the best i've found and I'll keep the phone for a long time.

I did have to play the what's the best deal you can offer option on three different occasions though. But worth it in the long run I feel.
