After reading the last few posts Re: wrong tariffs I checked mine online. It's only the 300mins that are showing up when I click on the allowance section. Is this wrong? Should my unlimited texts and internet appear there too?
Might need to give O2 another call0 -

fyfestuart - No I dont think they do. As long as it is showing as an iPhone tariff (eg O2 35 for iPhone) then that should be fine as all iPhone tariffs come with unlimted text / data now.0 -

Not sure, but they don't usually break with release dates.... same time every year, never know though.0 -
Thanks for the reply, I'd actually read the comment from geekgirl and was wondering if anyone else had managed to get a deal thats all.
But yeah I had seen the simplicity tariff idea also. I sent an email to o2 with regards to pay & go customers being treated unfairly (worth a try) and was fed the following story:
Good Afternoon Jamie

I am a 3 customer at present and am now just out of contract. I noticed o2 have some good sim only deals at present. I really want an IPhone and wondered is there a way of taking a sim only deal with o2 and then getting a refurbished IPhone in a while. Will the sim card work and allow me to have data etc?0

My iphone 3gs deal from Orange
I am due an upgrade and my actual contract ends in April so i phoned disconnections said i was looking to get the iphone 3gs 16 gb on the £40 per month tariff (900 mins 500 text) and what deal they could do for me they said they could give me an extra 5% discount i already get 10% so it will cost me £34 per month for 18 months.
Handset is £99.
I said i would think about it because i wanted to trade my phone in, so went to my local orange store who told me i couldnt have any loyalty discount and anything i had would be lost as its an iphone (i dont think so)
So they sais i should go throught the upgrades, rung them again next day and was told sorry you were miss informed and can only keep your existing 10% deal. I hung up and called again, spoke to someone else and they said yes thats no problem. Handset is on the way Monday.
Plus i have 7 days to try it, if i dont like it i can send it back and i am back to sqaure one. Not bad really and that means i can sell my old phone else where.
handset £99.00 18 months at £34 = £612 :beer:WhitemanD0 -
