Hi all.
Thought i'd better join the forum after a couple of weeks of lurking!
I can upgrade my contract today so just called o2, twice. Spoke to a bloke called Mark in retentions first who said that they do not have any reconditioned iphone's in at the moment, hung up and called back and spoke to a lady called Nina who said exactly the same thing and to just try every couple of days.
Dont think i can last though as i have an o2 open code so might just go into a shop and get a brand new 16gb 3gs.0 -
anyone been offered a good deal on a new iphone? or are they still just offering what they offer to new customers??? (annoying)
Thanks0 -

Thanks
I still think their hands are tied by Apple on new phone deals. That might change when the new one comes out though.0 -
Hi everyone, 3 is now offering IPhones to existing customers only, My husband got one last week after we said we were leaving, the brilliant news is they will beat any current offer on the market, he paid £99 for the handset for 24 months £20 a month for 500 mins 100 texts and unlimited internet data. They are not even advertising it! very hush hush which I think is strange! but loving the phone!0

No, that is not true. My colleague was offered an iPhone from 3. When I asked them, they said no. But they have only 8Gig, 3G only.0 -

Wanted £59 for the iPhone 3GS 16g handset. He wasn't at all impressed. He's five months out of his last contract and didn't downgrade to Simplicity, so thought they would offer him a half-decent deal, at least! He gave up with the guy and ordered his PAC code.
On another note, I got my iPhone on Monday. Checked my o2 account yesterday, only to discover it said I was getting 300 mins and no texts for £35 a month!! I had agreed a contract of 600 mins and 500 texts for £35/18 months. Spoke to a less-than-helpful person at o2 this morning who said this will be sorted by tomorrow. Refused to tell me what would happen to the charges that have mounted up for the texts I've sent since Monday! Not impressed with o2 at all these days!
They are legally obliged to refund you the cost of the texts if you have been charged because they didn't give you what you agreed to0
