has anyone actually asked for a specific person at o2? do you get passed to them?0 -
My other half phoned again last night. Best deal they would offer him was £40 a month/24 months for 600 minutes, unlimited texts, data, WiFi and o2 to o2 calls. Wanted £59 for the iPhone 3GS 16g handset. He wasn't at all impressed. He's five months out of his last contract and didn't downgrade to Simplicity, so thought they would offer him a half-decent deal, at least! He gave up with the guy and ordered his PAC code.
On another note, I got my iPhone on Monday. Checked my o2 account yesterday, only to discover it said I was getting 300 mins and no texts for £35 a month!! I had agreed a contract of 600 mins and 500 texts for £35/18 months. Spoke to a less-than-helpful person at o2 this morning who said this will be sorted by tomorrow. Refused to tell me what would happen to the charges that have mounted up for the texts I've sent since Monday! Not impressed with o2 at all these days!"Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen."0 -
Due and upgrade with Orange on 28th March. I'm after the iphone, I'm on Dolphin at the minute. What should I expect to be offered? is the £89 charge standard?
I intend to use internet on it loads so will deffo be after unlimited internet.

for one thing you should DEF not be charged for the charges occuring as it was their fault-and most of the phone calls are recorded so ask for them to listen in on the phone call to see that you were offered those texts in your tarrif and ask to speak to a manager!0 -
Hello All, Just a quick thankyou to everyone on this thread , has kept me sane in my countless calls to O2 trying to get a good deal.
I gave up waiting for refurbs and now in my last 30 days the last offer i got (and accepted) was :
£ 45 pm contract, 24 months , free 32gb 3gs. However i am know kicking myself at folding like a bit of tissue paper as soon as they said the words "free 32gb"
So after all of my battles i am considering returning it anyway , or telling them i now want 18 months and see what the response is. Unfortunately the blood rushed to my head and in the excitement i just couldnt say no .............whoops

Got offered a refurb 3G 16GB for £28pm 18 month contract yesterday with free handset , 300 free mins and unlimited texts. Accepted it but 2 days earlier got offered the same deal and 600 mins. Hey do. Don't mind as only a light user0

Hi GH
Did they tell you they were in stock yesterday?
I didnt know they would do a deal without them being in stock. They have never offered to set me anything up before they have come in.
Thanks
