After waiting since April I finally recieved a letter yesterday saying my backdated tax credits were paid into my account on 20th July and my weekly payment would start on Monday 26th July.

Surprise surprise, theres nothing gone in my account. I have checked the letter and they have the right bank details, so another c*ck up.

Have been trying to phone all day but they're not even taking calls now. It says ring back after 31st July.

So after all this time it still not sorted competently. And I sound surprised lol.

So if anyone has a number they're actually answering I would be grateful. Thanks
on the 01355 359007 number I got through on a few mins ago, they are dealing with all enquiries, not just the renewals so good luck.

Have treid repeatedly all afternoon. Why don't they just let it ring out engaged. I could tell you the full message by heart and why would you want to look online if you can't renew there. I don't have included calls and this costs me about 20p everytime I wait to get cut off.

Feel like sending a copy of my bill and asking for the money back.

I used this number and got told off, it is as you say for outside uk, I got told it was on my file not to call this number again.

So sorry to get you told off. My lady on this number was really nice.

Apparently it is a priority number for people outside of the UK....... if they can afford to be outside the UK they should have to keep ringing like everyone else, not be given a priority line!

What a stupid post. What about crown servants? Who have limited time and funds to call home.
  • I can not get through to tax credits. tried numbers. desperate have spent last two days crying on and off. must have called 50 x today and yesterday. toddler wailing away was time consuming, she thinks i hate her lol. never just ignore her for two days solid. keep losing my temper- can not afford to lose money.
    situation desparate.
    been trying since 25th.

Need to renew- no change in circumstances.

Rang last year was prompt and took no time. did not know what song and dance i was going to have.

Reason i need to do it by phone is am serverly dyslexic- lot of problems with form.

My babys father helped me with the form yesterday and in the end it went recorded delivery so i thought-- he got me to sign last years form!!! by time realised had been sent and no time to resend it.

complaints number is same as the renewls letter. i need a human being to deal with.

i cant find out where mine is- i am in stoke????

i need a human being to renew by phone or i can possibly get to an office?
just need it done- can cry in a tax credits office just as well as wait while the cut off time rolls by here. so frustrated. angry.
feel totally helpless. what a joke. helpline? the taxcredit 'helpline should do what it says on tin- leave it at that- just need a fair service.

i have a form filled in. its to late to post it.

i have problems reading blocks of text so please space if you want

me to be able to read it. tried all numbers here- also tried child

benefit to tansfer me trough- waste f phone bill. made hundreds of calls phones going to be cut off anyway.

anyone have any more numbers or know where my local office is. im finding it humiliating telling so many people who cant help me- i can not read properlly.

If your call is Not Urgent and can wait till after 31st please dont call the helplines- not everyones lazy- i need to renew verbally, for it to make sense to me.

    can i complain verbally?

who can i ring :) its a joke but a joke that means a lot of heartache and me and baby going below breadline- if it isnt sorted out:eek:
