Well i'm afraid you wont have any control over when it happens hun, my DD is 21 with a good job, in a secure relationship, and has travelled extensively around the world with me since she was little. This is her choice, and her life not mine.I am chuffed to bits for them
Thanks for all your congrats everybody btw;) :j :j :j
Candygirl I'm sorry you took my comments as criticism. They weren't intended that way.
I know I don't have any control over my children and their decisions - I've already had that discussion with DS and its only a matter of time before I have it with DD. Only my DS can decide what A levels, courses, university he should choose as its only right that his life should take the direction he chooses. I will offer advice but can't do any more.
My DS and DD have travelled extensively too since they were any age but they still have loads of places that they want to visit and that is easier, and cheaper, if they only have to pay their own way. Of course, that's only my opinion and I'm sure there are lots of people who would disagree with me.
Congratulations again to you, your DD and her partner. (((hugs))) too to you and your parents."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Well another wonderful day with our boys. We went to the animal farm and then a fabulous playpark in Dunbar. Met people I knew at the farm and then more folk at the playpark.
DGSs were fantastic. They go home tomorrow after their 4 sleeps but haven't asked for Mum and Dad once. Have friends arriving tomorrow night for 2 nights so busy still.
Love to all
