Morning all

It's boiling here again, had a terrible sleep as it was so airless and hot. Got up early to go for a run before the sun got going properly.

I am back at work today at 1.30, can't say I'm looking forward to it, have got used to living with less pressure and stress and i know it's going to be like hitting the ground running again. Hopefully a new job will materialise soon and i know I had to go back to work at some stage but can't say it's good.

Off to Asda this morning with DS, hopefully won't spend to much.

morning all

its still very warm here and had a lovely weekend with ds2 and squishy didnt have time to see all their pics as had to take dgs1 to A&E with pixie, poor man he isnt quite right yet so needs keeping an eye on
then had a call from ds1 to say he had rounded a corner on a single track road to find small stones had been spread across the road so he skidded and turned the car over which is a write off, amazingly he escaped with a tiny scratch his Dad was certainly watching over him that day
have got most of the blackcurrants picked so goosies will be next then the redcurrants

Salmon for tea tonight, or it will be if I get it out of the freezer, I'd better get the recycling to the kerb, or it will still be sat here as the van whizzes past.
Not too much planned, although a good tidy is needed and the beds need changing (more washing).

Hi everyone, well it looks like it is going to a another boiling hot day in MK. OH gone to work and I will be going to work shortly myself and dropping DS off at nursery. Thankfully OH been paid today, July seems to have been a long month! Got hamburgers tonight for dinner, probably fry them, trying to avoid having the oven on. Enjoy the weather! Have a good day

well the party's over. back to work after holiday. and working full time for a few weeks, which will be even more of a culture shock after lazing around for two weeks.
but it will be good for the bank balance.

Hi, back to say ELONA, I have just voted, good luck to your DD
TWINK, Thank God your DS is ok.
Getting hot here already, have deceided to put clear preservative (reduced in our local ironmongers) on doors, windows and garden furniture, should dry quickly in this heat.
Collected b/berries y/day so will make a pie and crumble, so much for no cooking!
