I built my greenhouse last night & it sits just short of three growbags placed side to side. So today I'll put in some salad seeds in while the weather is still warmI]-ish[/I, doing some baking & a roast for dinner :D

    Hi All,

I have been to Mr.T's today as I am away for the weekend and DH has got to look after DS until Monday :rotfl: DH really is no cook so I am having to leave some easy things like Pizza and sausages for him to do and on Sunday he is off to his Mum's for a roast :T So I have planned for the rest of the week and spent £31.09. That was including my £5 voucher from the NOTW.:j I did spend £3 on some chicken legs and thighs that was BOGOF which I wasn't planning on getting but they'll get used.

I also have some strawbs about to turn in the fridge so I'm going to make some jam with them in a bit. :D

    Morning everyone.

Have been reading thread despite not posting for a couple of days.

Sorry to hear about Archie Kaat_lady. I have a dog at the moment, but had two cats for over 20 years and loved them both to bits.

NSD Wednesday. Yesterday I bought myself a very expensive (ha ha) treat - 4 floating Yankee candles at 89p each. Bought different perfumes as wanted to see what they were like and if they actually smelled nice whilst alight. If OK might get some for Christmas pressies. Also bought dgs2 some sweeties. No GC items though, and today should be NSD as well. In fact, hopefully it will be NSD's until the 1st as trying to get well under my budget if I can.

Managed to put an extra £140 on to my cc today as well as my normal payment all as a result of this GC so thanks to everyone for tips and info. Should clear the cc in two more months with luck, but I'm sure someone will hold out their hand and demand money with menaces from me between then and now!

Kaat Sorry to hear about Archie I lost my cat about 1 1/2 ago it's not easy when you know they are ill. I would love another cat but I don't want to go through that again.

NSD for me. Been busy making MrsM's Chewy Soft Flour Tortilla Lovely and very easy will not be buying them from the shops again. BM has been on for pizza base. Have picked loads of runner beans and frozen them down. Need to bake some more hobnobs DD2 goes to childminder 2 mornings a week and I always has a tub with about 5 in there and it always comes back empty and it's not my DD that eats them all. Took the last lot out of freezer this morning. They will have to wait to night, going out with sister as weather not too bad although it is clouding over fingers crossed it stays nice.

    Have a good day everyone

    hi all

haven't posted much lately, i know, but i'm keeping up with the posts...just!

kaat lady hope you're ok today, and archie is resting lots

i've been really busy getting things ready for when Ruby's pups arrive :j she goes for another scan on Tuesday, and they're due in about 2 weeks, so i've been getting a birthing box ready. i'm probably more excited than she is!! she's like a little barrel on legs at the moment!!

will go and update my spends in a minute. i've stocked up on the Surf Small & Mighty this week cos it was a pound off, so i've now got 10 bottles stacked in the spare wardrobe! Should last me quite a while, cos i don't use it on every wash...only bedding and t-shirts really. i just use normal cheapy powder on jeans etc!

got a couple of leeks, and a bag of carrots this morning as i really fancy some veg soup at the mo. must be all this cold weather we're having! i've already got some spuds and lentils so i'll probably do that tomorrow morning

just taken a batch of iced buns out of the oven, so as soon as they're cool, i'll be icing them. got a load of ironing to get on with this aft as well, as the washer's been on 3times up to now, cos it was lovely and bright outside earlier...bit overcast now, so i'm glad i got it done early!

right, will go and stick me Dolly Parton on now and upset the kids, cos i like music on whilst i'm doing jobs round the house much to their disgust at my tastes!!!

have a good day everyone xx
