  • I wish I could cancel - I'm desperate for a way out of Three but I've not had a letter. Typical, I'm upset because they're NOT putting up my prices :D

Just ring them. And cancel it stating the T&C.

I think they dont even know who they have sent letters to.

  • Couldn't I call stating I havn't recieved the letter....but I have a copy which I should have recieved in front of me,,,,,isn't this in its seld a breach of contract.
After all my voicemail mins are going to cost me as of 17th nov and I havn't even been enformed about it.
Its not that I cant lie about recieving the letter more of a ... do I really need to???
OOO not sure to call or not????..
Does anyone agree with this  ??
B good if it works as im going overseas for a few month and the nokia 6680 is locked to 3 so I would have to purchase a new handset anyway. :p
  • hi all,
did it anyway what the hell,,,no probs, although the first women I spoke with swore blind I had to pay up my contract,,,,,she had to get someone else on the line and he knew what I was talking about.
He spent a while trying to make me stay,,,(although he didnt offer any disc-just talked about higher price plans) but eventually he adv it would be closed as of 5/12,,,,when I asked for my PAK code he asked his supervisor and he advised that I would need to call on the 17/11 (the date of the price inc) to get that,,,,whats he on about????
but dont mind really as just signed up on another 3 contract anyway but this time with totally free line rental,,,,, AND a nokia 6630 to sell....woo woo.
Iv just been and pressed the 'thank' buttons on all u postys which helped me make this happen..
    cheers all
  • I have now cancelled my Three contract and i got my PAC code also.

    I am/was 4 months into my contract.

    Moving to easymobile :)
ooo just read above post,,,they wouldnt give me my pac code said had to wait till 17/11..wierd, might give em another call
  • ok boys and girlies,
called back again to quiz em on the PAC issue,,,and I spoke to a guy in scotland who advised that I can have my PAC as soon as I would like it and it will be cancelled from the day the new provider takes it,,,,,,effectively I would recommend if you would like to cancel now,,,you can. He checked this with a supervisor and said there wouldn't be any charges after the port date..(usually takes a few days for other provider to take it)
    And there is more...
To unlock the new nokia's..it costs £115 whilst in contract...and £15 out !!!
I think Im correct in saying in about a week I can call and get it for £15 as I will no longer be in contract then.#
It just gets better really doesnt it

I've just cancelled my contract 3.5 months into it. It was hard work. They kept putting me on hold and I got transferred a couple of times. The lady wanted to know which part of the price rise will affect me and how. She said different letters were sent to different people. I stayed persistent and said it doesn't matter which letter I got, the price rises (international or local) meant that under the term of THEIR contract I am exercising my right to cancel which she fianlly accepted. I then got transferred to another guy and he said the contract would be cancelled as of tommorow. I got my PAC and am going to transfer it to a PAYG sim.
