Hi
Ive been watching this post as Ive recently upgraded my 3contract.
Ive tried to call a few times to cancel my contract and every time I get through to the Indian call centre and they basicly ignore me.
I phoned the glasgow branch that take payment details and explained the problems I was having so they offered me this number .. 0870 7330367 .. its for the dealerships but if you explain the problem and ask nicely to be put through to the Glasgow cancellation department they should do.
The advisor I spoke to in Glasgow did try and argue that the T&C say they can change the cost of the call aslong as they dont mess with your actual priceplan. However I asked to be put through to a supervisor as I interpreted it differently and I was put on hold a couple of minutes then told my contract would be cancelled without any fee being charged aswell as being able to keep the phone (which is great as its the new sony erricson!)
Hope this helps anyone whose having the same problems .. my advise would be dont give in just make sure you speak to someone in Glasgow!!
Hope this is ok as its my 1st post on the board

I forgot to post,, but managed to cancel mine over the phone and with a helpdesk lady in Indian!! Lancy was her name.
Its seems to get thru to the people who seem to know are
dial 333
options 1 , 5 , 3.
got back thru to them a few times cos they are having tech probs getting my PAC code.
NB, they said if they issue a PAC code then they can'r automatically cancel in 30 days. The cancellation will go thru the day the other mobile company takes there number which in effect could be sooner. If you dont use the PAC then your account wont be cancelled.PLAY GOOD!
trolls and abusers will simply be added to my ignore list - you can do it too! its under USER CP

Would like to take the opportunity to cancel my contract but I am only 5 months into my contract via Just3g (The company that never seem to pay any cash back claims!).
The following is in their terms and conditions:
Tariff Changes -

If you subsequently alter any aspect of this talk plan then you shall be liable and are agreeing to a surcharge from us via your credit/debit card details for the difference between your original charge & the full Recommended Retail Price of the Handset.
We strongly advise every customer to adhere to these terms so as not to incur any costs to themselves. For customers who wish to alter their talk plan you may do so safely & without surcharge after the dates shown in the table below. We do not accept responsibility for network operator errors. If you require any further information about changing your talk plan then please contact us
Network From date of connection -
Please refer to your invoice for details
T-Mobile After 195 days from connection
O2 After 135 days from connection
Vodafone After 195 days from connection
Orange After 135 days from connection
3G After 195 days from connection
On all our offers, you must remain on the selected tariff for a minimum period of six months, if you change your tariff before this period then you will invalidate any cash back claim due to you and will incur penalty charges of up to £350, this will automatically be debited from your card. If cash back has been redeemed before the six month period, this will also be recouped by charging the card.
My 195 days ends on 30/11/05 and I take it I must cancel with 3 within 30 days of receiving notification of the price increase?0 -

Your contract will then cease on 30/11/05 as required.

I have a 3 contract from e2save and it is my 6th month next month where I have to send in my bill for cashback. I was thinking of sending in the bill, get my cashback and then ring 3 to cancel my contract.
Will there be any repercussions from e2save with me doing this?0 -
My contract is now cancelled.
I contacted e2save and they said it wouldn't effect my cashback claim as it was submitted and recieved before I cancelled.0 -

Some people said that e2save would charge me for the remaining months I have got left, so in my case 6 months.0
