Nuisance Calls

I have been getting calls from Indian-sounding people, saying they are from Money Managers. They offer to reduce unsecured debt through a government scheme. I have tried telling them I am not interested, that I have no unsecured debt, to stop calling me and simply hanging up. But they keep calling back.

On ringing 1471, it says the number is 88888888, which must surely be fake.

I've reported them to tps now.

I got a call from 01617895988 I tried to phone back and got an automated message saying that this number is not accepting calls right now please call back later. Anybody got any clue as to who they are?

over the last week or so i have been getting calls a few times a day from 08000135333 and now its getting to me is there anyone out there that can help me to stop them

I've had a call from 01252 576317. They knew my surname, and asked if i lived at my address, I just said I didn't live there, as i thought it sounded suss (Sounded like an Indian call centre).

Does anyone know who this number is?

i just called it they said their name is cheque quest or debt quest something similar. they are a DEBT RECOVERY company

seeing as its an 0800 number HIDE your number and call them back saying you had a call from them and didn't recognise the number, just ask to clearly state their company and what they do, they should answer you.

is a number in Aldershot apparently. Google search says people reporting it as a firm of solicitors?

well thats what they told me when i called them up just now, try calling it yourself and see what they say.

anyone tried calling them and telling them that you do not want to be contacted or emailing them, thats the steps i usually take but then again i dont really get this problem i dont give out numbers unless its to family everyone else can WRITE to me, or give them a throwaway mobile number.
