I'd have premium numbers barred, but I like price-drop tv too much! LOL
Thanks for all your advice, just going to have to grin and bear it I guess;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0 -
Hi
Just had a phonecall from this robot too. If you get another phonecal from them just wait until they finish speaking because they tell you how to remove yourself from their list by pressing '9'.

I just had one as well, not about a loan and I thought they said ssdm.
But same type of thing, how dare they call especially as i am with TPS anyhow.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -

TPS complaint form, if you have the details.

Just had the same call myself. Like you i am on TPS so should not recieve calls like this. I would advise not pressing 9 to opt out but just hang up, as the robot may take your interaction as confirmation that you were listening and try again with a different tack.
Call TPS complaints as they have not heard of this yet on 0800 411 4220 -
Could be these guys http://www.fs-dm.com/
(just found that on another forum http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/02031370635)
They just called me but as I didn't press any buttons they just hung up - have registered a complaint with the TPS - updated link http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consumer/ will be interesting to see if they try again.

Jo I think you are right that it is financial services data management:
How about everyone calling their freeline as much as possible to see how they like it!

Thanks to everyone on this thread.:j I have just phoned the freefone number for FSDM and when I requested to have my number removed from their data base they were happy to do so, the girl on the other end of the phone almost finished my sentence for me. Maybe they realise what a pain they are!. they said it would take 24 to 48 hours to action, so hopefully that will be the end of these annoying calls.

I was called again today and it definitely was FSDM (http://www.fs-dm.com/about.html). I selected the option to speak to an advisor and when i asked how they got my number (but after admitting they were FSDM) they hung up! They later agreed to remove my number when i rang the free phone number, but claimed they got it legitimately from a credit database. When i informed about being on TPS (privacy) and asked if this was checked they made no comment.0

I got a call today from this outfit, despite being on TPS register, and not having applied for a loan. I didn't dial 9, but I shall make a complaint if they try it on again.0
