I'm also finding it strange that the website has been unavailable for such a while. I claimed a payment of just over £20 a month ago and tried emailing, using the email address on the webpage and also the contact details on their survey emails. Both have bounced.

I will try again, using jonathan.fearby@theidfactor.com - given by wellsie82.

Hoping this email address bring some success!

Jon ignored my first email but I rang them up and got put through to him so I can confirm he does exist

I then emailed him earlier this week to confirm my cheque was on its way as he'd promised and he got straight back to me

I got the impression he didn't like me ringing up to chase it so this may be the best course of action....

I got a cheque from Home of Research (the id factor) this morning.

The cheque is dated 15/08/08 and the envelope is franked 17.09.08.

I hadn't been chasing the money and I can't remember when I requested it, probably the end of July.

:o The website is still down....

I did get another e-mail from them - one of these 3 minute jobs where you have to update them with all your details again. And of course no reward is given......

I have done quite a few surveys since it was down but have no record of what points I have accumulated. Looks like I could be losing some of them...:o

Does Home Of Research have a contact number or anything because this is getting annoying?!

Just had this sent by email.

Thank you to those who have sent queries about the website.

Rest assured, we will have Home of Research up again soon and in the interim, Home of Research is still going as strong as before. Based on your feedback we were building a brand new website with increased functionality when the old website experienced some technical difficulties. After trying to resolve these issues, we decided it would be more productive to throw all our resources at the new site and launch a basic version so that functionality like the redeeming of points and updating your details could be restored.

With over 250,000 users, we need to make sure that the site is fully tested and we have people working around the clock to ensure this happens. As soon as it is tested fully, we will let you know and then you will see the new design. This will be updated and refreshed with new components as they are ready, with increased functionality and ways to earn points continually being updated.

We are still sending you surveys as our clients choose to use Home of Research for the quality of responses that you give, which means you can still earn points.

If you want to check your point balance, simply email us at:

points.enquiries@theidfactor.com

If your balance is above 2,000 points, simply let us know at the above email if you would like to redeem. We will verify your address details and send the cheque to you.

Thank you for your continued support and patience – the new website will be worth the wait!

I also received the email and emailed back to the email address given. It promptly bounced back! Previously I've used two other HOR email addresses and they also bounced back. Have sent two emails to the address given a few posts above - he just didn't answer.

I'm waiting for approx. £20 payment from early August.

Has anyone else tried to email the address given in their email with any success?
• have sent my request off today to the above e mail address requesting £20.00 plus payment, been owing since site went down. I wasnt concerned at first but now i'm thinking that my efforts to complete their surveys might have been in vain. They certainly dont seem to be in any hurry to resolve issues.

I got an email from them today saying they are doing a new website, but it seems to be taking too long to get the site up and running. There was an e-mail link saying I could use it to check my points, but when I sent an email asking about my points it bounced right back

Which email address did you use? I've tried 3 different addresses, two bounced back and one email address is never answered.
