  • I am still getting survey invations sent to me which I am ignoring, if they are capable of sending invites out why are they not informing everyone of what is going on and keeping us all updated. I have lost my trust in them.

I got a cheque from Home of Research (the id factor) this morning.

The cheque is dated 15/08/08 and the envelope is franked 17.09.08.

I hadn't been chasing the money and I can't remember when I requested it, probably the end of July.

edit information from the enclosed letter.

  • There's still hope for my cheque then. I requested it 2 days before the site went down.Tried to email Tuesday but my mail was returned. Still getting surveys though, yesterday was invited to a focus group for £50, but turned it down.

  • My cheque arrived this morning too - requested it at end of July. I haven't chased it up at all but it does seem as though you have to wait several weeks for it.

Yes this sites been down ages now, makes you wonder if it is ever going to get sorted. I have had surveys from them but I've decided not to do any till I hear something positive. I tried e-mailing them today and the e-mail was returned, couldn't be delivered!!

  • i sent yet another email to home of research about my loooooong overdue cheque nd got the reply 'you will recieve it as soon as possible'.... still waiting. also, each time the email from 'seetha' ends with 'have a nice day!' - which i think is pretty ironic..

  • i rang the id factor a week or so ago and was told my cheque would be sent at the end of that week - received it this week and mine was also dated mid august lol

once the cheque has cleared i'll be contacting them to see whether they'll pay for the loss of interest :rotfl: (just to p!ss them off one final time) and then i'll terminate my account

i hope this thread will get viewed many more times to come and it will put people off from signing up with them, an awful company, awful customer service & awful payments process - make your own mind up folks ;)
