• I'm still receiving surveys from them but i'm not doing any of them until their site is back up. It annoying that their site is still down despite them telling to check the site in 3 days...... over a week ago.

• well i think i hold the record for the most time wasted on waiting for my cheque to arrive. iv been waiting and emailing since february!!! now, "i want my cheque!!" home of research sucks. every time i email i am told to wait another couple weeks and that they will get my cheque delivered asap. its not even a big cheque its only like £25 or whatever the minimum is. took bloomin ages to acquire enough points too as i kept getting screened out of surveys half way through. a big two thumbs down from me.

When I emailed them earlier today regarding my payment they said it would take 2-6 weeks if I don't hear anything I have to email them again

i hope you've replied back telling them that it's not good enough, if we all keep on their back they will give in trust me - don't let them win!

ive gone back to them again today asking for an exact date. they're breaking every promise they make
these guys are acting very unprofessionally. a simple mass mailing to members to keep them informed of any issues and timescales, would help to restore some confidence. they're in serious danger of having a mass exodus of members once the site's back up and running, as people cash in their points and decide it's not worth doing any more surveys for them.

you're spot on but thats far too logical for them to think ahead! a one-liner email to all their members telling them that their website is having problems would of kept most people happy, and another email telling us that payments might be delayed wouldn't of gone a miss either. instead they wait for us to chase them which surely from their point of view is bad practice for any customer facing organisation

ive stopped doing all surveys since i requested my payment, these guys aren't worth the trouble, £60 in 3 years is madness, ive probably spent as much time chasing up my only two payouts than i had doing all their surveys
• just thought of something, who are this mob owned/looked after by? im sure its the id factor, in which case hows about us all bombarding them? when i get home tonight i'll search my emails, im sure i went after the id factor last time this happened, i should also have the remmitance advice that my last cheque came with, that should have a contact number on it
• have just searched my emails and the following guy replied back last time i kicked off at home of research.... jonathan.fearby@theidfactor.com

ive just emailed him again asking for help this time and will let you know how i get on

I can't believe that the website is still down, it's been weeks now.4dezt.gif I must admit I am starting to get concerned about the £20 I have accumulated in my account now and am reluctant to do any more surveys for them......10ppphk.gif
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
• I have also received quite a few surveys from them since their site hasn't been working.
I've been deleting them as i'm not willing to do them when i don't know whats going on with their site. It's taken too long for them to sort out.

I to have had a lot more surveys than usual and have stopped doing them, they have been down for 3 weeks now which is very fishy, they owe me £40 but I'm beginning to think I won't be seeing it.

I'm also finding it strange that the website has been unavailable for such a while. I claimed a payment of just over £20 a month ago and tried emailing, using the email address on the webpage and also the contact details on their survey emails. Both have bounced.

I will try again, using jonathan.fearby@theidfactor.com - given by wellsie82.

Hoping this email address bring some success!
• I emailed Home of Research again yesterday expressing my concerns about the website still being down and my suspicions about the website not coming back and losing my earnt money. They have replied again today saying they are still doing maintenence and the new website should be online at the beginning of next week.....hmmm.....
