I was assured by the telephone operator who took my application that I would get the 100 quid.
The supervisor is looking into it and geting back to me tomorrow, I said while she was looking into it, I will look into what the FSA have to say about it, very poor, is this legal? Surely they are obliged to pay up if we have met the set criteria? Its becoming more and more evident to me that banks can get away with anything these days........Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

You say you were told during the application that, if you met the offer T&C's, you'd qualify for the incentive. They're now telling you you won't qualify because you applied via phone.
In your position I wouldn't wait with "fingers crossed". I'd make an official complaint, citing the conflicting information given by their staff.
A word of warning though (and although I contributed to this thread early on - and have had my £100 incentive paid - I haven't checked back), I seem to remember if making a phone application you had to call a branch directly, NOT the call centre.
Who did you ring?0 -

I'm in the same position as you. They've just called me and told me the same.0 -

That's what I have done, and I am waiting on their response.
I was prepared to go into a branch (only phoned to confirm details of the offer), but the advisor clearly stated that he could do it over the phone, and that I would definitely be receiving my £100 bonus if I paid in £800 per month for 3 months.0 -
