Gentle hugs to Pen-Pin and anyone else in need.

winniepooh - I am sorry to hear of your news, big gentle hugs to you too.
The last of my 3 days today, I am feeling shattered and have started this evening with a streaming nose, sneezes and a tickly throat. I haven't achieved much at all so far this week but am on top of the housework (not the ironing mountain) and can finally put all the pots of paint in to the shed as I've finished touching up all of the paintwork. Despite all of my plans the front garden is still not all done and I am hoping to finish it off tomorrow.
I am a tad peed off with the eldest's school as I phoned at the begining of the week to see if they would be affected by the strike and was told not. Yesterday DS1 arrived home from school at 3.40 with a note saying that they woud be closed today. Fortunately the nursery were able to take him but that has cost an extra £20 today. Cue a walk after work to pick up the 2 youngest and then 2 more bus fares to go back an pick up the eldest. Grrrrrr.
LO is not showing any signs of chicken pox yet but there are still 2 off from his class so I am waiting....
I hope you all have a good night, must get off and iron a couple of things for the kids tomorrow and do the lunchbags.
Sleep tight,

Hi hun,
no - no fun at all. I am feeling worse as the night goes on, got that achy feeling in my bones.... Never mind, the fun starts if the kids go down with it.
Just done an online shop - thank god for Asda deliveries, resisted buying a bottle of brandy for medicinal purposes though!
Right off to bed, goodnight rzl.
