betheebee so sorry to hear your DB2 is struggling at the moment. All you can do is be there for him when he is prepared to talk. ((hugs))
taplady well done on the extra earnings.
rchddap I agree with everyone else. Take the skirt back and say you have noticed a tear in it.
twink ((hugs)) to dgs2. Your uncle will appreciate your help, I'm sure. Not a pleasant job.
HH are you sure your in-laws don't live on Albert Square?? Eastenders would pay you for these storylines, I'm sure.
We were told that it is highly likely that our recycling wouldn't be collected today because of the strike. So, being the good citizen I am, I packed up all my cardboard and plastics waste to take to the recycling centre on my way to job no 2. Woke up at 7.00 am with the lorry reversing up the street. Yes, they were collecting cardboard and plastics but *only* cardboard and plastics. Still, it saves me another job later on. Don't like the thought of the food waste sitting for two weeks though.
As I was up early, I started to pack the suitcase for tomorrow. :j Have had to write a list of everything I need to remember because I won't remember everything I need to remember.Still, I think I'm quite well organised.
W**k today but as boss no.2 is on holiday, I don't expect to be too busy. Hopefully I will finish early and that will let me get another few jobs done before the school run.
Appetite still isn't back to normal yet (not a bad thing) so I have no idea what I will be having for lunch though I do have fish and chips planned for dinner.
Washing is up to date and house is generally tidy so won't have much to do before we head off tomorrow.
Have a thrilling Thursday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Good morning all!
Washing needs to be put away and few bits got in off the line, prob yet more lurking in the kids rooms, but not brave enough to venture in there yet!
BM and DW need filling and hoovering needs doing, what a fun hour I'm going to have, once I get in the shower and get dressed!
dd3 says she had a fab time a HSM, oh even seems to have enjoyed it, glad that it was good as dd3 had to give up her pocket money for quite a while to get her ticket! Ogre, me?!
dd1 looked fantastic for her prom, even if i am her mum and say so! She had a great night and so did all her friends, thankfully the rain held off as it was in a marquee this year.
Not much else to report, hopefully off out to see a friend for a late brekkie once I'm organised, well once I've done some of the chores, organised would be too much to hope for I think!
Hope everone has a lovely day xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning peeps
the nasty rain woke me at 6am this morning, it was really bouncing down.
It`s slowed down a bit since but is still pouring down, it does seem to have lost the force behind it though.
Neither of the houndies will go outside at all so their morning walk is out of the question at the moment, the little cat was meowing at the door but as soon as i opened it she peeked out and ran back into the kitchen:rolleyes:
I can`t do the jobs i wanted to do in the garden so i`ll just have to do the ironing instead and make a new freezer inventory, the freezer will be defrosted soon so i`m meal planning like mad and trying to stay organised but little unexpected things creep in and there is so much writing on the original inventory that it will be easier just to do a fresh one.
Just eaten my toast so i`ll get a move on as i need to find somewhere to hang all this washing too, hope i get everything done before lunchtime.
Catch up with you guys later.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning Guys!!
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((twink/mum)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Well last night DD & I ended up going to the cinema with my GF's. They called up and told me to get ready for 7.30. It was great and we had a good laugh. It was fully booked at 8pm, so had to go to the 9pm showing, so went for a drink first. I got throughly spoilt. Apparently OH had called one of my friends and said I was down etc, so they organised it for me:D ...we saw Mama Mia which wouldnt of been my choice of film but I havent laughed so much in ages....once you get over the initial shock of everyone singing and at being so corney (sp) it was good:rotfl:
I have also received a letter from my solicitor this morning who has put in a formal complaint about the way I was treated last year and this year with given wrong drugs that could have killed me etc and they have admitted partial responsibiltity/neglect....not sure what that means exactly as my solicitor is now away for 2 weeks:rolleyes:
I am so tired this morning but so glad I got out last night.
There was a HUGE family argument yesterday which I cant go into on here but I dont want to get involved. If married people want to shag around...thats their choice....but then they have to face the consequences of their actions...is that not correct....maybe we are the weird ones!
WM has been on. DW emptied. Toilet cleaned.
Sold 21 DVD's on Ebay and made £66.00:j :j :j
HUgs to all.

Morning :hello:
PenPen, I thought of you the other day. I wish you could have seen the peccary pigs, they make the weirdest noise - it sounds like they're retchingThey were all doing it at once (they knew it was feeding time) and there were two babies, 2 weeks old, trying to copy the older ones but they couldn't quite get the sound right and they were really high-pitched. I was laughing so hard I was crying :rotfl: It doesn't seem so funny now I've written it down, I think it's one of those things where you have to be there
Mr troo got his wages - cash :T
At 2pm yesterday, master troo qualified as a carpenter :T
Not much happening here. I was going to pick up some work from the boss's house but his wife dropped it off at 8.30 this morning 'to save me the hassle of leaving the house'. She knows me so wellThere's a load of towels in the washer and I have to do yesterday's ironing. I was going to get it all done after lunch but I put the tv on and found some River Cottage episodes on V+. I was only going to watch one, I ended up watching five
Next thing I knew, I'd 'lost' two and half hours and it was time to start thinking about tea
I am a coffee bean0
