Hi r.mac, No, not the first. We have a 14yr old Gd by our DD1 but this is DD2's first baby and I'm worried as her OH is a twin and his twin had twins last year

Dont worry too much - twins run on the female side of the genes, so unless you have lots of twins on your side, your DD should be ok!! (they can still happen, its just not as common)

Shez - would love to meet up:j (we are going to be those tourists clogging up the streets!!) not sure what date we are coming just yet, but will be during the week begining 11th Aug. I think it will prob be mid week rather than the weekend as that will be cheaper - but i need to spend my Harrods gift card!!!

Snowy - we are looking forward (not only to spending my win!) but to visiting the museums. I would love to take DS to see Arsenal play (which is why im not sure of the date yet) but its so difficult to get tickets!

Im sure i had more to say, but cant think at the moment!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Catowen - Oh so thats why you're coming to London, you won a £2k harrods card - WOW WOW!! well done! what you gonna buy??? Shoes, handbags???:j (treat yr favourite friends off MSE:wink:  ) - I shall investigate on the Arsenal tickets for you see if any bargains, but not sure there are any matches on in August? usually start towards the end I think.

I shall be back from holiday before the 11th so definately will be around!! I think Bargain Rzl might be around, as I don't think the proms start till end August!;)

snowy/marie - dont worry, I know the score re the weather, have got the wellies, macs, jumpers, short, swimwear, hats....and the ear plugs so I dont have to listen to the banshees wailing!:rotfl:

Shez & Catowen I could be around that time if I had enough notice (and you dont mind me tagging along).

We are plannning loads of trips to London over the holidays.

Havnt had a great day, came down with a sicky headache so got hardly anything done but not going to moan - been reading Wellers thread on DFW and its very sad - makes you realise how lucky we are really.

I know what you mean EG it's desperately sad isn't it.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
My DD came back from camping today, her rucksack the worse for wear and she had her best sleep all week coming home on the bus-bless. She's got blisters on blisters but she looks well and I think she enjoyed it.

Shez - the season starts on the 16th August (they are at home playing West Brom, but ive already been told it will be difficult to get tickets for that one as its the first match of the season) but i do know there is a Champions League match due to be played on the 12th or 13th - but the draw isnt until 1st August and they did say i would have a better chance of tickets for that one, so thats when im hoping to come down! Cant wait to get into Harrods - have no idea what im going to buy yet, but i have promised the children some of it so we are all going to be completely shopped out!!

Essex girl - would be lovely to meet up - as soon as i have booked any tickets i will let you know!!

I just hope tomorrow brings some good news.
I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!
