Hi Ibis,

I believe BT will alow you to continue using the address which you can access through Yahoo. I was a BT customer before moving my service to TalkTalk and the other half still uses his bt.com address for e-mails. I am sure the BT rep will be able to confirm this for you.

TalkTalk provide a wireless router free of charge for all customers joining our service so you will be able to connect a number of devices wirelessly. If you have an exsisting router that you want to continue to use then that should be fine too as long as its not locked to your current provider.

We tried moving over to Primus Home Saver (the landline one) and we heard nothing back a month later, and when we called back were told that the "order did not go through" and we would need to signup all over again.

Has anyone else experienced any difficulties similar to this?

Talktalk broadband Package.
I transferred to Talktalk as Tiscali kept on failing, but after transferring i find I am paying an extra £15/month as my exchange has not been added to Talktalk
system yet, this was not stated to me before joining. On querying this I was told it could be a few months before this is cleared but no date given.
Anyone any ideas on this or had this problem

Could you let me know what exchange you are on please (see https://www.samknows.com)? This will allow me to look at what services are available on your exchange and why you are being charged for broadband.

TalkTalk and Tiscali are in the same group of companies - they are not the same company.

Hi OldGreyFox,

The key word their is planning. At the moment they are operated as two seperate companies. There are plans to merge the two companies but that has not happened at the moment. This is highligted by the end paragraph in the link you have kindly provided.
