    Mortgage-free Glee!
Do seem to hate signatures over on the House boards dont they? I always untick the 'Show your signature' button when I'm outside the MFW board but forgot when I made my post slating the woman who loves it when homeowners get into financial difficulties.

You should have seen the furor! I had to apologise and edit the post to remove it. :rotfl:

(I've included it here, but please don't kill me!)

I am not in debt and have not been so, other than my student loan, although have had some experience of it. I often look on here, not to be negative, but to see if I can make any helpful suggestions (although generally the dedicated DFW's are pretty on the ball with their help). I think part of overcoming/dealing with debt can involve a whole new outlook on money and spending eg grocery challenge, freebies boards, laughter and discussion etc  .
We may all have our opinions on other posters but it is much nicer to be constructive (even if you are saying something diffcult to say) than nasty about it. Noone is better than anyone else on here and we are all just wanting to get ourselves in a better situation than we are now, or at least not worse!
Tbh I have not really noticed animosity between boards :o really but tend to ignore any deliberately nasty posts.
I tend to be on Old Style, freebies, discussion boards etc but think it is great how you all support each other on here :T .

I guess it is like being at school - the nerds (proud to be one personally!), the sporty but stupids, the creative drama crowd, the b-itchy girls in the corner, pretty, but basically vacuous.

Each group has its own rules, 'uniform' and ways of communicating.

People congregates where their personality, goals and also insecurities about aspects of their lives suit them most - perhaps with the latter because it gives them some kind of comfort zone of some kind - good or bad. Never the twain shall meet and woe betide a nerd getting in the path of a pretty but vacuous b-itch in the corridor at break time.

I've read the post you started Amy and sadly, it was spoiled by someone who seems to get a kick out of being smug and sniggering at the way others live their life.

However, peoples situation can change ......be nice to him folks when his circumstances change and he needs to chang 'gangs' to the nerds..............;)
