My case is that i have not got access to the internet.
After finally giving up on a deadlock letter i am waiting for the 12 weeks (from Aug 5th) to be up so Otelo will take my case. Until then they can do nothing for me.
They have also taken mine
So are they now taking your case or are you having to wait 12 weeks?????????0 -
We have just had a call from 3 in response to our recorded letter.....their date of our renewal seems different to ours (although it is after Oct 2007 anyway) so we will have to check our records. However, they are claiming that due to being ordered(!!!!) to change their terms in order to maintain their UK licence then changes, even to our detriment, do not give us the right to cancel without charge.
Is this true or are we being hoodwinked?
I haven't read the thread for a few days so will go back to see if there is anything mentioned here.0 -
they were NOT "ordered" to change their T's & C's at all. That is complete bull.0
-
however, under the terms it does state that the right to cancel without fee is waivered if the contract is changed due to changes in the law. I expect this is what they are referring to.Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0

Yes, this is exactly what they were claiming.
I realise why our contract end date varied from 3's ........we had a phone upgrade and changed the contract, so the new 18 months got added on to the two months remaining on the old contract.0 -
they claimed with my upgrade that the 12 months would start from the official end date of the original contract - sept, but the min/text amount changed and the price went up. I was supposed to get the new package for £20 p/m which included a £5 p/m discount. they now claim that the discount wont be applied until the new contract officially starts. eh ??? so i ended up paying 3 months of £25 quid rather than the £20 i was expecting.

Mishka - I think I am starting to understand how 3 works now!!!!!!! They always benefit.
One strange thing from the call, was that we were told that if we let the contract run, 3 might make us a very nice offer later.........now what is that supposed to mean?0
