The increased charge for non direct debit payments doesn't start till 22/9/08, so they still have time to inform us.0

You have it in writing from them that they won't charge you for this, but still keep scaremongering.
The date moves forward (as has already been posted), and as soon as they opened for business today the date duly moved on. They now say it is free till 20/10/08.
One charge they are increasing next month, though - they are putting up the charge for anyone not paying by direct debit from £3 to £4 a month.
it baffles me as to why they continually move the date forward - why don't they leave a date off it and leave it as free? i'm not that fussed anymore because i've done the vodafone deal on quidco and will pay off my three contract as soon as my cashback comes through, but it just seems odd... oh well.0 -
Maybe one day they will bite the bullet and introduce the charge.0

im not 'scaremongering' and i'll thank you not to throw insults my way, (this is exactly what i was refering to in my previous posts regarding you )
I posted the information about the continually changing date and when i had the time to check it hadnt changed,
Its a shame i wont be able to leave 3 but at least the OP has got an 'out'

You gave them till 07.59 to change their website, then came on here saying "it may be going ahead", even when you got a reply in writing from them that it wasn't, and another has posted the actual reply saying it wouldn't happen.
Now you say you weren't scaremongering and consider it an insult??
On top of that you say I insulted you previously??
I stick by the point I made to you before.I'm not here to start an argument. If that's what you expect to find on a forum jammed with advice from posters, look elsewhere here - maybe the Arms is more for you.
I would be happy to help you if you want it, which is the only reason I asked the original question.0 -
I 'gave them' until the 31st and presumed that it would be an automatic update, The reply in writing that i received was a standard email and considering others in the thread had the same information (and different) I didnt consider it reliable, I didnt start this thread and i was only giving my experience to help others.
You may not be here to start an argument but you insist on correcting every little point, Ive seen it so many times on so many threads and I personally find that rude and very un-neccessary.Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Regarding the email you now say you consider unreliable you originally posted how impressed you were by receiving it???
What you personally find rude is of no interest to others.
You can always report posts you find abusive, but others you consider unnecessary I suggest you ignore, rather than continue to post about and try and provoke an argument.0 -
