  • just spoke to three again and they have once again denied all knowledge of this charge. slightly strange considering it's going to be implemented in four days time. i don't know whether to go directly to cancellations and explain situation as i can't get a straight answer out of anyone. i've been told by customer services that it is going to be implemented but i've been told by others in customer services that it won't be implemented.
does anyone know if three have a number in the UK that i can contact without going near customer services?
  • just spoke to three in glasgow, who were no help at all. didn't even answer my question and just told me to write to head office! this is seriously annoying me now...

    Why?

Just await any developments - this note regarding charges for billing has been there for years, and never actioned.

well it's concerning me because two people from three customer services have told me that the charge is being implemented and another two have told me that it's not. it's just very confusing and i don't want to get my bill in four weeks and find they have charged me for it. i mean, why have a note saying they're going to charge for it, and they never action it? what's the point in that?

If the worry is stopping you sleeping you could always cancel paper billing and rely on their on line billing service.

Otherwise do as you posted above:
my next paper bill is due around the 28th... so i'll have to wait another month before i can do anything if they don't announce it.

You have it in writing from them that they won't charge you for this, but still keep scaremongering.

The date moves forward (as has already been posted), and as soon as they opened for business today the date duly moved on. They now say it is free till 20/10/08.

One charge they are increasing next month, though - they are putting up the charge for anyone not paying by direct debit from £3 to £4 a month.

So there is the 'out' if people want it. I have not recieved any leaflets mentioning any of these new charges.
