OK I had a telephone reply within 3 hours of me emailing them, pretty good I thought.Chap was very helpful and assured me that I would not be charged for itemised billing and I would be on per second and not per minute billing on the price plan I am on. If you are on a mix and match then you will be a per minute customer(i knew that anyway). So I am happy with their reply.0

Following my email, I had a phone call from three. The lady said that they ARE going to introduce this charge for NEW and EXISTING customers. But that when they introduce this charge they will inform ALL cutomers before they're about to do so.
I told her this was not in any of my paperwork, she replied that they had only just updated it on the website. I answered this still does not negate the fact that I renewed with three for a further 18months on the basis that itemised billing was included. I told her had I wanted to be charged for itemised billing i'd have taken out a contract with another network provider, and that informing us before they introduce the charge still does not resolve the issue and I will carry on and take it up with OFCOM if they continue.0 -
well one of you guys ^ has been lied to !!

3 are members of the OTELO adjudication service. You might do better to complain to OTELO rather than OFCOM.

i received a reply already, amazing really as every other time has taken days
I feel pleased to inform and assure you that we do not apply any extra charges for itemised billing. You will be receiving your bill along with the itemised bill as you always do. if you prefer you can view these online https://www.three.co.uk.
I can see that you’ve upgraded your contract on 18 June 2008. Your new 12 month contract will start from 30 September. if you close your account now you’ll have to pay pour remaining line rental in advance.
Not sure if I should reply or wait ??

What was your motive for contacting them?
Until any change is unexpectedly imposed on us there is nothing we can do.0 -
eh ?
The change is being unexpectedly imposed on us , therefore that was the motive for contacting them.
Surely its pointless doing it after the fact ??Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
It depends on your motive - do you want to be able to cite a contract breach in order to cancel, or what other reason?0
-
Well now that depends, do you want my answer so you can provide help and information, or to start an argument
see it all really depends on YOUR motive . . . .
