This is a cop out, your contract is with 3, not all the other networks. I cancelled fine due to this after emailing the exec office, PAC code issued.0

Result: PAC code issued by exec office this morning. Will wait a week to see if they offer any better deals then look to see if any good deals about,.0

Hi all,
for those who have got PAC codes from exec. office, how long from emailing them to get PAC codes...

I emailed them Friday, had a response back monday, saying my account had been cancelled. I emailed them back on Monday asking them to confirm no penalty charge, and for the PAC code, and had a reply on Tuesday :-)0

When I cancelled over the phone I asked if there would definitely be no charges and I was told there wouldn't be. I also asked them to confirm in writing and I was told that they would be sending a cancellation letter out confirming all the details.0 -
Thanks to everyone here.
I sent an email to the exec office on Monday and got a call off a really nice guy yesterday, more than helpful.
I got a Nokia 95 and my monthly line rental reduced to keep me with 3, seems fair enough.
Very straight forward, no arguments and I could have cancelled if I wanted to.
I was on a monthly plan and only did an upgrade a couple of months ago.
Thanks to everyone involved, once again MSE to the rescue

what line rental did they offer you? they offered my hubby £20 pm but that is what is on their website anyway so they didnt offer him anything special really to retain his custom.0 -
I am hoping I will get a call this week to offer a N95 and a reduced line rental, but if not then I may be tempted by the offer someone posted on here yesterday. For the N95 for £25 with 750 mins and unlim texts.0

Possible word of warning:
Managed to get a PAC code sent to me via SMS on Sunday night after they gridgingly let me quit my contract 5 months early.
Bought an iPhone on Monday and gave them PAC code and they said transfer day will be today (20th)
Just called O2 from my iPhone to see what time the transfer usually goes through and she went off to check.
Came back and said that my PAC code is invaild and I will need to contact 3 to discuss.
Has anyone who managed to get a PAC code actually used it completely yet?
Am now thinking they've either cancelled the PAC code at thier end or were giving false PAC codes out just to get rid of you.
Will need to get hold of them this evening and give them severe grief!!
EDIT: Ignore that, seems it was the thick kid in the CPW who put the wrong phone number in against the PAC code. He's put the number in I wanted to port but got the last two digits the wrong way round!! Phew. O2 just did it their end and it will go through on Friday0
