Three Itemised Billing Charges (merged threads)

So basically, you can't cancel due to the itemised billing only the rounding up to the minute?
If so, that's poo!0 -
I upgraded my handset in December last year on a new 18 month contract - i have no issues with the contract length, but in my absolute stupidity, and gadget goggles, i got an LG Viewty handset which I hated 24 hours later.
But I was saddled with a £9 a month video call charge on top of the £18 a month I was paying.
I ended up selling the phone and paying off a few debts as I kind of looked at it as an 18 month loan.
is it worth trying to cancel if i get a copy of the letter to try and re-negotiate the deal?
the £9 video call charge was essentially locked to the choice of handset for the duration of the contract, but i never use it - i'm paying £9 a month for nothing really.
i guess it's all moot if i don't get the letter though ...0 -

Why? don't all 3 UK customers spend minutes? as I read it ALL 3 UK customers that have taken a contract before very recently can claim a cancellation of their contract as the minutes issue means a disadvantage to these customers - FORGET THE ITEMISED BILLING this was a decoy by 3 UK - they had to inform customers of the per minuite isseue and added this simply as a decoy - if you received this letter then they are going to charged you more if you make calls less than 60 seconds now or anytime during the period of your contract - unless you tell them you want to cancel under sec 10.1.d of the T & C's - don't listen to the attempts they will make to keep you - be strong - they have invoked experts to put you off - silly you if you let them!!!0 -
per minute doesn't apply to mix and match after october 07 (sorry cant remember the exact date)0

So everyone with a contract before oct 07 on anything and everyone on a contract other than mix and match are eligible - IF YOU GET THE LETTER from 3 UK you are most definatley eligble - Yes?0 -
I didn't think this is a "letting you" sort of deal, I would have thought this was a right of yours as part of the terms of the agreement and that you can demand it.
Ignore what the chap on the phone says (haven't these customer service types got a history of saying anything, true or otherwise, to stop people from cancelling a contract?), send Three a letter (make sure it is delivered signed for so that you have proof of delivery) stating your request to cancel and a PAC code to be sent to you and see what happens.0 -
I've experienced the same issues with the PAC code.
They have cancelled my contract which is due to terminate within a month, but they are saying that they would have to reverse the cancelation if I wanted the PAC code. But that doesn't make any sense. As my contract is technically still running.
We reckon this is some plan to try and force to me stay with them...well I've had the number for 8 years. I know everyone who needs to know it and I guess it wouldn't be in end of the world!
Like others have said though, BE STRONG! These people on the phones are all working to targets. They will be receiving a huge number of people cancelling, so don't allow them to change your mind.
I told the guy today that I was moving to the iPhone and he said that it was a rubbish hand set. He started bring up things like 'if there is very slight water damage then the phone will break'...well every phone i've had from 3 has broken on its on accord!
I think we all need to keep the drive up against 3. We're are paying customers and we do not deserve to be treated with such disrespect. And they certainly do not deserve our money.
They will try and get money from to cancel your account though! Even though they know that they are in the wrong are entitled to give us the cancellation for free, but you have to keep trying!
Does anyone know the actual address in Glasgow for the executive office? I might just go in!
Sorry about the long post. As you can tell i'm pretty !!!!ed off.0 -
Have you asked them for a PAC code?
They offered me a PAC code in which I declined .
This the way i explained it to them.......I get 600 minutes a month after the 23/9 if i make 600 30 second phone calls you will then round each of those calls I make to a minute which means i have had only 300 minutes and every call I make then WILL be chargeable to my account.
Hope this helps .0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Think though I might be cutting off my nose a looking at other companies I cannot see a tarriff for 300 minutes at £15!Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
