Hello, I have just come to the end of my orange contract and phoned CS yesterday to inquire what deals they would do for me,when I said I was thinking of shopping round for a new deal the operator just said ok I'll send you your pac code, no offers nothing, currently spend £30 per month and lots of minutes wasted. I want to stay with orange (coverage best here in the sticks) and add my wife's PAYG phone or a new phone for her onto my contract, want inclusive minutes and text messages around 200 per month between us. The phone I would love is a Nokia 9500 as I used to have a communicator a few years back and the email facility and keyboard are brilliant. any suggestions?

Hi,
Sorry I havent been back n here, lost internet as NTL tryiong to screw me, so jumped over to wanadoo.. get it cheaper through working for Orange (In future wanadoo is changing its name to Orange btw)
I know most questions have been answered but will just go through the ones I have missed..
Iceburn: Family can only be applied to any YP tariff's; so unfortunately ED50 wont be elligible
byran: with Orange, if you need a unlock code, they take your details, and pass them onto SonyEricsson in your case. SO it can depend on how busy they are0 -

You'll probably know these adverts from cinema, papers etc; with the Chinese man. You want to be more quizzical, by saying well, since you treat them the same, a new customer will get 1000 X-Net Mins for £25 and a free K750i, as an existing customer am I not the same.
Hi. I tried this just now but the lady I spoke to said that she had no idea where I could possibly get that deal (1000 cross-network mins), except as a cashback deal at a dealer, and they don't match those.
I qm currently on a brilliant package called "select 500" for £25 a month. I get 500 cross network mins a month and also a whole load of texts (I forget how many but it's something like 200). She said this isn't even offered to new customers.
So my question is, how can I better this? I am officially up for renewal today, and would ideally like any or all of the following:
- some sort of monthly reduction (either lower charge for good, or % reduction for a few months)
- more cross network minutes (800 perhaps?)
- a free Motorola V3 phone
- any concession for foreign cals which they might be able to give me (would they ever throw in their 'calling abroad' package for free, giving me 20% reduction on foreign calls?)
Any advice very much appreciated from those who are good at this (eco21, any input?)...
Thanks

Please can you tell me why Orange connect your phone on the day you order it. I hadn't even had my phone out of the packaging and i have already received a bill for first months line rental and non DD charge.
1) The phone won't even be out of it's box until Dec 25th.
2) I will be wanting to pay by DD
3) I've had orange world/wap and all the other stuff that i didn't ask for added.
So thanks to Orange i will be paying for a full months line rental ect that i haven't even had.0 -
line rental is paid for one month in advance. so a bill is made up of next months line rental and last month's call charges.:A Boots Tart :A0

The bill isn't for next months line rental. The bill has charges for line rental from the day i ordered the phone, e.g i ordered the phone 29th nov, received phone 2nd dec, wrapped phone and put under tree 3rd dec, bill received with line rental charges for 29th nov 30th dec!!!0

Hi Donna
I have a nokia 3320 phone which I am very happy with. I am on the lowest tariff and it is up for renewal. I hardly use my phone and have done my research to find that PAYGO is best for me. Can I keep my phone and switch to the paygo offer without having to pay the 44.99?0 -
Wendi: When you cancel the contract, they will send you out a PAYG sim card, which will allow you to use your number on PAYG, and its free0
