I just bought two as well from the same seller. See how I get on with it first before I order too many. I like the Thomas the Tank engine you made rainmac. My 3yr old would love that, might steal your idea and do something similar if I can find paper and stickers...

Thanks greenpixey, I bought my Thomas stuff from this ebay seller, p&p is expensive for 12x12 paper but I only paid one lot of postage and all other items were postage free (I think that's right) :D

Well, got my hangers, got my card...........just need to get time when I know I'm not going to be interrupted by kids giggling and saying 'what 'ya doing now????'...........they think I've gone totally daft !!:rotfl:

Our craft shop a bit uninspiring, especialy for paper for boys stuff so I ended up getting some dark brown that had a sort of wishy'washy look to it and got some motoring embellishments (steering wheel, and stuff like that) then realised I was going to put a pocket on it !!!!!! and I've got a load of nice buttons I got with a 'kit'.................oh b****** !! I should make a list and stick to it !!

Mary, why don't you decorate both sides like I have? Put the pocket on one side and your motoring bits of the other. You could decorate your pocket with a few buttons. Would that work???

I hope he did that after he sent mine out...........I'm really eager to get going!!!! :D

I did think about cardboard ones, but thought mdf was more robust for the littlies in my tribe ;)

That's why I went for MDF as I started only doing them for kiddies and then migrated to adults and then nearly everyone I know!!! Think I've made about 18 now! We must be giving the hanger guy quite a bit of our £, maybe we should have got organised and asked for a discount ;)

rainmac - I am a ninny I really am...............I was going to cover both sides anyway so course I can decorate one side and put pocket on the other - daft at me :rotfl: More than obvious ain't it...............:rotfl:

Oh, when you cut the paper out of the circle, did you use a craft knife for that after the paper was dry ? Can''t remember and it would be a nightmare to cut it out beforehand I'd have thought.

Yep, did use a craft knife and waited for glue to dry. Good luck!

Forgot to say Mary, you really made me smile as I haven't heard the word 'ninny' for years :rotfl:

Hey Rusty, I used this chap... http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/nic8481_W0QQ_nkwZQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ.
Ordered some more this morning and he has already sent email to say they have been posted!

I was thinking of maybe getting some wooden shapes, painting them and decorating somehow and making tree ornament, keyring, fridge magnet, gift tag etc for pressies. What do you think?

Ha ha great minds think alike! I was deliberating and deliberating over the hearts he/she has with the holes already drilled, cos I had loads of ideas flooding yesterday...................but then put the brakes on and decided to just do the hangers first - got soooooo many ideas with them ;)

Hopefully I'll have a go at my hangers on Sunday..........or tomorrow, depending on what time the builder comes to view the hole thats appeared in one of the bedroom ceilings
I've got a craft knife that my son left behind when he went off to art college so I'll use that...............just hope I get it right first time.........lol
