rainmmac - thanks..........I'll shout if I need help (and I probably will...........lol) Got all my stuff out to do them today but had meeting with soc.worker this morning that went on longer than I thought, then had phone calls to make-by that time I'd gone off the 'creative boil' as it were...........lol Maybe tomorrow ??? (how many times have I said that ?)

I think I need to send Rainmac my kiddies pocket money and pay her to make me a door hanger for christmas lol ... The christmas one is absolutely stunning! I have to admit I am thinking of making more and putting them in with baskets and presents for christmas.

I need to make a danger one ... my sister in law who is 17 lives in a complete pigsty, she never tidys up her room and there have been times when FIL has gone into her room to look for plates etc and there has been mouldy plates left in there ... the room apparently stinks ... I am thinking some kind of danger one but not sure where I can find things to stick on it. Think yellow and black striped paper which I could do myself in layers but then need embellishments of stickers of some kind.

rainmac - sorry but I can;t remember now whether you cut the card around the door hanger first (the overall shape not the circle bit) or whether you stick it on and leave edges to trim off when the glues dry..........

rusty - I have a foster boy like that and he's nearly 18 !!! Thought of doing something for him on those lines but can only think of 'pig stye'.......or something like 'beware - toxic waste.'........................lol It really is a case of taking my life in my hands to cross his floor..........................lol
I'm sure they'd be some toxic waste signs if you googled it in 'images'

beware toxic waste is a good one, also maybe WARNING! enter at own risk

Mary, I know you asked Rainmac and she probably does it different but I glued them on first then trimmed when dry.

rusty - Beware Toxic Waste on one side - Enter at your own Risk on the other maybe? ..............lol

Thats what I thought about cutting them out.............I've for 12 x 12 paper so if I cut a piece thats just a bit bigger than the hanger and then trim it -see how I get on from there. The bit that worries me is cutting the hole out................lol

Love the idea of a danger one!!! For Xmas you should give her the danger sign and a bucket full of cleaning products!

I did the same as Rusty, glued hanger on one side, stuck it onto the paper, let it dry and then cut around it and then cut out the circle  Then do the other side  Mary, I'm sure you will be fine :D

I'm gonna have to get some door hangers!! Loving these ideas! Shame they had none in my hobbycraft! I spent ages looking at those Christmas trees trying to decide what I could do with them and now I know!!! Thanks Rainmac for the idea and glad you got the mini scrapbooks in the end!

rainmac - ooops.............I was going to put glue on the paper not the door hanger...............lol Also wondered whether wallpaper paste would work. I mixed some up the other week to cover a shoe box and it worked well, also covered a photo album..............there's still some left and I thought of using that. What do you reckon ?
