No need at the minute though..........poured out some PVA glue and whole load came out so have just started and put that on my very first one !
And I made a fabric pocket !!!!:j It was a fabric sample I had so I folder it over and glued it.......put little row of stitching up the back join ..........I'm getting all of a dither now waiting to trim round the first one..............
Hoping it all goes ok........................lol Will keep you posted:rotfl:

Ohhh Mary, I'm imagining you with all your glue and fabric and stuff! It's odd isn't it how you imagine what people look like, I bet you look nothing like how I imagine you look :p

Well, thats the last bit of paper stuck on...............think I should have got better paper for grandaughters but with a few stick on bits to cover where the glue went on to the patterned side and 'removed' the pattern and bits of ribbon, here's hoping they'll look ok...............think I'll hide them from OH till they're totally finished otherwise if he finds fault I might hide up corner and cry...................................pmsl:rotfl:

Had another idea to do with wood/MDF, thought you could get an oblong piece, decorate it, stick a notepad on the front and a peg or something to hold a pen/pencil. Not sure how to attach it to something - magnets to stick to fridge or drill small hole to attach to a wall???

    Sorry, am I rambling...?

I've used fabric on cards before so I should know what I used.............I know double sided tape only worked a little bit when I made the pocket hence the stitching so wondered whether pva glue might do it.

With grandaughters last side I cut the circle out before I glued it which made it a bit easier (I think ).............and just found a cracking bit of shoe lace with very 'un girly' beads at the end -perfect to tie round grandsons.......so least I'm getting there:T

Oooh.........got me going now. Saw fab idea on another site.........think it was shabby chic site maybe............anyway, you use serviette and blackboard paint. Paint top part of oblong board (size of the serviette) with crackle glaze -oh eck forget what you do next..........pop some paint on maybe ? The it all goes crackly.............stick serviette on top (peel layers of serviette so you left with a thin one..........past on to crackly part so it looks all 'distressed'..............paint lower half with blackboard paint abd between the sections nail piece of wood thats shaped so you can lay chalk on it.
