Think pva glue might work, failing that double sided sticky tape might be worth a go.............I'll have to have a bit of a practise run I think with an odd bit of material and bit of wood............lol Want to get it right.
Found some offcuts of silvery wallpaper this morning with a bit of 'modern' pattern on but there's not enough really so I'll have to buy some craft paper at the weekend.
Think I'll try strips of leather round grandsons instead of ribbon, or get some shoe laces...........something like that anyway.

I've made two more, for my boys for Xmas...:D

Both were very difficult to make (sorry savvy :o ), paper ripping and not drying properly once glued. The Thomas the Tank Engine paper was embossed and didn't like glue at all  I glued paper onto one side of each hanger, managed to get most of the paper off and then stuck on new paper with good old double sided tape.

The boys won't appreciate how much work went into them but I think they will like them :D

lovely door hangers Rainmac - where did you get the spiderman paper from in the end - it looks really funky - you're kids will love them. My kids share a room so they would have to share one!

Brilliant rainmac (aren't they always.........lol) If you need any more hangers try www.woodcraftsupplies.co.uk. ..........don't think they're shown on the website but you can request a free catalogue and they're in there.

Do you think there'll soon be a time when every one in the country has a door hanger ? (along with cup cakes and sock monkeys............lol)

Then next year we'll be scratching out heads not knowing what to do.................lol
Oh, forgot to mention where I got mine from

Got the Spiderman paper from someone on ebay along with a few other bits (of course!). The p&p was expensive but ok when I added a couple of other 'must have' items ;)
