Brilliant hangers Rusty!!! I really like the shape of yours. I've ordered some Spiderman and Thomas the Tank Engine bits to make 2 for my boys. I think they make such fab presents.

Are you going to be making any more...?

Mary, it's your turn next to tell us how you get on!

Hmmmm I think the shape of the rosette made it a little harder than if just a normal hanger if you know what I mean. I am thinking of making at least 2 more for my OH's friends children not sure how to decorate them as yet but hopefully I will see them at the weekend and will be able to find out who their favourite character is and hopefully go from there.

Come on Mary :) We are waiting :rotfl:

Mary, you'll have to describe them to us!

Glad your hangers have arrived, remember try not to choose thin paper. Good luck :D

I'll be nipping out to the craft shop tomorrow lunchtime............I may be some time.................................lol

The door hangers in the catalogue I got look as if they're priced at 68p if you order between 1 and 49 -del. £1.95 for orders up to £4.99...........and the shaker pegs are cheaper than the ones I looked at.
website is www.woodworkcraftsupplies.co.uk and they'll send free catalogue.

rainmac - I'll be a right pain in the bum now I've got my hangers, asking you all sorts...................lol
For grandson I'd thought of black and white stripey design but not sure now as I got some freebie fabric samples I could use to stick on as a pocket for the message. Is the best thing to use pva glue to stick the fabric ?
I've had a lovely piece of pale grey/blue velvety type fabric but I'll have to create some sort of edge to it otherwise it'll fray...........oh eck........talking myself into more work than I need do...................lol Would I be as well using a piece of card for the pocket ?

Hi Mary, I'm not a fabric person unfortunately so not sure about what glue to use. I bet someone like sethsgran would know. I think it sounds like such a cool idea to use fabric so would be great if you could.
