We have updated our website on a regular basis to keep customers informed of the expected shipment date.
This is the main problem I have with this company - the way in which they communicate the little information there is. How are we to know that the expected shipment date as given on the product page on their website applies to our orders? (Incidentally I emailed to ask them this last week but received no reply). Why would anyone go back to the product page after ordering anyway? Surely the best two methods of communicating this information is 1) emails to customers who have outstanding orders and/or 2) a note in the order history section when we login to the website.
I wonder if the MD is still listening.0 -
Well almost a month on I finally got my copy of Win 7.

Are you sure this company is legit? I ordered Windows 7 upgrade on the 7th of November and my account said it was dispatched and I would get it in 3-5 days. Then they said it was on pre-order and would be available on 15th Nov.
On the 15th they said the 26th and on the 26th they said 6th Dec. What do you bet that on the 6th it will be another 10 days? What a farce, does it take Microsoft over a month to get a copy of their own software?
It's beginning to sound like a scam to me, are they really this incompetent? Even if I get the software I won't be buying anything from these clowns again, and I'll be warning the people at my school from using them. It's not surprising that people pirate software when they make it so hard to buy legit versions.

Is it possible that there is a problem here mainly with the supply of Windows 7 software. I wanted to order MS office for my grandaughter and I am wondering if this site could deliver it for christmas. The pricing is unbelievably cheap and I am very dubious as I once was scammed for some game software from a completely different site my grandson found.0

I dont doubt the legitamacy of software4students however I hate bad communication from companies, as i said previously if they had said it was gonna be a month then I wouldnt have a problem with it, i just dont appreciate the rare emails which went along the lines of:
We've sent it out
We are gonna send it out
We've sent it out
We have'nt sent it out
We never had it
You'll get it when we get it
Saying that win7 is now happily ticking along on the kids netbook so that should keep her happy at xmas.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
I'm also waiting for my copy, ordered (and PAID FOR!) on the 11th of Nov..yet to arrive
They blame Microsoft for the delay, which may be true, but surely they shouldn't take payment before goods are ready to despatch.
Another issue with them, their order tracker said "despatched" a few days after the order was placed (1st time I checked), however despatched, to them, means they'll consider sending it when they have it, not the traditional interpretation - that it's in the post!
If I was in a hurry I wouldn't have ordered from them..but I wasn't so it's kinda ok..though communication could be better, one 'comedy' moment was when I received a stock e-mail reply so asked again (as the question hadn't been answered) and got exactly the same e-mail.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -
As you are admitting your failings in this matter (nice to see!)
Are you going to amend your computer systems to not say what they do currently?
Here's mine (you know who I am now) You may note that my order has been showing "dispatched" for several weeks now, which was/is obviously a lie!
