Hi everyone, I'm paying about £18.50 a month for 60mb bb only. That's after some haggling. Does that sound about right?0

Yep, I pay £31 for 200mb, so £18 sounds about same-ish discount on their new customer rates, regardless, when you look around at other providers plus phone line, is very good0 -
I've just given VM notice. I was paying £53 for bb,landline and M TV I think.
She didn't offer any money off. I could get less TV for £42 but I've got freeview so don't need basic TV.
The rate for bb alone would be £30 a month and about the same for landline + bb. So no discount.
Looking at other peoples moans about the reliability of other providers, wondering if I should stick with VM bb. At least its reliable.
I cancelled last week. Do retentions ring up again to offer a discount or is that it?
They used to be more generous when I rang up to cancel. They must not be bothered anymore at keeping customers.0 -
Retentions offered me this
100 meg BB
XL TV
EVENING AND WEEKEND CALLS
SKY MOVIES
2 TiVo boxes
1 hd box
£68 per month inc line rental
Is this a good deal
Yes indeed. I'm paying £53 for 50 bb,landline weekend ,1 TiVo box. That's it. I did get it for £38 but keep hiking up the price.0 -
No phonecall yet after cancelling a week ago ...0

Hi All,
I posted on this thread a few months back and thanks to some useful advice I was able to get a good deal on my broadband only package.
I am now looking to negotiate a deal for a family member who has been on the same bundle for a number of years and I am sure they are paying over the odds. I don't have much experience of what is a good deal with bundles so was hoping someone could suggest what I should aim for. This is the current bundle:TV Size: XL
BB: VIVID 100mb
V+ HD
Talk Unlimited
Multi Talk 1000
£72.94/month
+ £17.99/month Line Rental
Total = £90.93/month
Thanks in advance.
