We have recently been moved onto BB Large instead of Medium without requesting it. When I queried it, I was told that the Medium package has not existed since February, and thus we have 'done well' that this has been missed until now. So, I entered into the new contract they have now sent, but wanted to know if they're telling fibs.
Is anyone else here still on the Medium BB package???0 -
M was the entry level. M 10mb changed to L 10mb (with different traffic management to those joining on L 10mb - we changed in January.

I currently pay:
£20 for TV(m+) & BB (L)
£5 for V+
£13.90 phone line (m)
total £38.90
I've only been a customer for 12 months (I signed up via Quidco for £160 cashback).
We are happy with our package but I want a discount!!!
I wouldn't mind having a V+ box in our second reception room but don't want to pay for it.
I also have 2 mobile phones with them, both on discounted rates as we are long standing loyal customers (their words not mine).
What can I expect to be offered if I ring up to cancel?
Thanks.
Well after my first offer of £44.90 a month for keeping same box and having XL TV which I never asked for so I asked to be disconnected I had a revised offer today.
£32 Tivo box (no installation fee) and keep same package but have telephone with free evening calls as well.
I'm quite happy with this. I did ask to keep my existing V+ box and move it to another room but that takes my monthly bill upto £45 which is too much so I'm going to stick with the £32. I'm going to mull it over for a few days though in case they revise the second box offer !~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

They tried to but negotiated by cancelling - at the time I got £18.49 (or thereabouts) for phone line, L BB (10MB), XL phone and 0845/0870 add on (not as cheap as others managed around that time but got fed up and wanted to move on!). It subsequently went up with two or more price rises to around £21.49.

If that's what you're still on now, Anon, then you've got a great deal! This is what I'm paying if I decide to go with the contract they've offered:
Line rental: 13.90
Talk int: 1.75
Talk unlimited: 8.00
TV size M 0.00
Broadband L 26.00
Paper bill 1.50
Loyalty Pack -14.00
TOTAL 37.150 -
Moved my tv back from Sky after a year away so no longer on this pricing but was fairly happy with it.

Are you on a better deal with Sky, Anon? Or would that be wishful thinking on my part!0
