Does anyone out there managed to secure a deal in middle of their contract? i have 6 mnths left.
BTW Spoke to SKy he said he is willing to offer 2 mix + 2 mb broadband (unlimited i guess) for 15 pound

I've just phoned 08000529403 number for Virgin retentions. Apparently I have called too late to ensure that they can deal with me and they will call me back within 48 hrs. Is everyone trying to batter down their phone/tv/bb contract on a Friday?

Hi, I didn't believe that all these savings could be made. I have just phoned the Customer Service 0800 number and easily saved £££'s.

Package
TV XL
Broadband L
Sports
Telephone Rental + approx £7 per month calls
2 additional set top boxes at £15 per mth each
Total = £114 per month approx

New
All above but Unlimited landline calls on telephone plus Sky Movies
total = £68.95 per month.

Guy called Chris was really helpful and took time to find best deal - he kept finding more discounts as we went along!
Why didn't I do it sooner???

Dont know how I get to this bargain with NTL before. I tried to ask for another box to use for our tv upstairs and they are charging me another £15. Dont know if I should go for it. And one thing, i dont know how to tell them to have a lifetime offer like the others..I normally phone them every now and then to update my discounts.

They are going to charge me an extra £5 for a 2nd box. Call them back!

I phoned Virgin up on the customer relation number last night and have broadband xl (10meg) and talk unlimited 24 (xl) for £25 per month for 3 months but can ring back every 3 months and they will extend it. they seemed very much as though they dont want to lose business even though i didnt say i would leave!

I was on 2 mb broadband + starter on 9.99
the deal was for 6 mnths expiring next month.
Called up customer service yesterday to find out what they can offer (can't call retention as i can't say i am planning to leave.)
Offered 2 for 20 naaah not worth.
The gentleman John gave me 08000730591 number and asked me to speak to them.
Lady on phone was trying to sell me phone line I refused as I am happy with Vonage.
She then offered me continuation of the same deal
Broadband 2 mb 9.99
starter tv for free
She was selling me L package with 2 mb broadband for 17.99. no i don't need that tv or higher speed.
I am mainly for saving money.
Anyway if you get better deal without phone line then please do let me know.

I dnt knw if any of you have heard but apparently virgin media are going to pull the sky channel package as sky have decided to raise the price for the package(thats what i read last night), hopefully 1 of the sides will back down over it and the sky package will b back on

I was just on the phone and I wished I did not phone them at all.. I was just asking how much would it cost me to add another box and then the lady, Michelle checked my bills and said I should not be paying £22.99 only, I shld be £43.50 for: TV XL and phone £25.50

we have just upgraded to v+, we have also had the original box in another room, for 5pound extra, we have xl tv package+ ss 1+3, landline, 2mb broadband!!!!

i have just rang up to get broadband upgraded and another box

another box 9.50 month
broadband 4mb is12.99 for first 3months, i said i wanted it for ever but she said no it goes upto 25 after that,

what prices should i e looking at for them 2 extras, 10meg bb if possible???
