you will be tied into a 12mth contract for the TV deals but I don't think that is the case with with the phone deals. but just to be sure make sure you should clarify this with them. When I was offered the deal, i specifically asked this question and I was told that for the TV I would have been if I was still in my first 12mths but as this was not the case there is not tie in for the TV and nor is there a tie in for the phone.

Hello...
I have been with ntl for the last 2 years....i currently pay £24.99 for broadband, 1mb line!
I am sure their prices have come down since then, but they have not altered my tariff since i joined up with them.
Is this fair?
beacause i think i am being ripped off....
what should i do?
Thank you

Telewest have matched Sky broadbands price for me for the last 6 months. I currently get 10MB broadband, Line rental and Talk 24/7 unlimited for £26 per month, saving me £36, just got it for another 2 months nad have to phone back for new deal then. I didn't threaten to cancel, just asked them to offer me something to make it worth while giving them my business. I am not tied to anything. No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Hey Gerry
i have 2mb unlimited and pay £17.99 a month. You should call them, and say you have been over charged, you might get some money back :j~ lilmiss ~0 -
paragp wrote:i just got off the phone with Cust Relations and this is what I have been offered:
Family Pack TV- normally £19.50
Telephone Line Rental - normaly £11.00
Talk Unlimited 24 - normally £25.00
Zee TV - normally £8.00
for a grand total of £30 per month for the next 6 months, ring back after this to get something more long term. I was paying £38.50 per month without the Talk Unlimited 24. Saving £33.50 per month on the normal price for all of the above. :rotfl: :T  :j
Also I was informed that with the merger of NTL/Telewest and Virgin, there should be a lot more offers for Broadband with regards to free modems/routers etc.. I was told to wait a few weeks to see what the actual offers are and then ring back.
Does anyone think I can do any better?
I also have Zee TV. Does NTL now offer Zee Cinema as well?Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Supreme Tv + Talk Unlimited + 4MB broadband for £30.
Will be calling in the morning to try and get a better deal for myself. Don't know whether I will be able to beat my mates deal though.

Hi,
I called then the other week as I have sky TV, but have my phone and Internet with NTL. I stated that Sky were offering TV Phone & Internet for £26.00 a month. They had a look at my account and gave me my Internet for £9.99 a month instead of £17.99 a month for 1 year and reduced my phone down to £5.99 a month for 6 months instead of £11.99 a month.
Well worth the phone call. Just do a little bit of reseach on the prices of the other companies first.
Hope this helps someone.
