I have the following with NTL:
Digital TV
Family Pack £30.50
Phone line
Standard 321 line rental included as part of the Digital TV pack
so in total I am paying £30.50 per month + call charges. Is there anyway I can get this reduced and also add Broadband in the package ?

Finally got through and got broadband back to 9.99 (had just gone up to £17.99) and my phone cut from £12.75 to £2.08 per month. Thats more like it.0

After reading this thread I called Telewest and said I'm thinking of going to sky for my movies and broadband..
The guy said that I could reduce my TV package, or broadband to 2mb (I currently get 4mb) But I said I didn't want to do either.
He said, OK, I can give you £45 pm for a year, and it can be extended. I currently pay £57, so am VERY happy! He was really nice and helpful, after he realised I wasn't willing to get a reduced package!

I tried phoning ntl today, and got the sales team, and my sister phoned earlier and both times we were only offered what we're currently on, 1mb for 9.99, but i dont want that, and said i wanted to cancel (iin the hope that they will offer me better), so i have to phone tomorro. buy i wanted to try one more time, cuz i dont think i tried retentions, and so i mite try them first, but do you kno if they log calls so that they know if i have called them lots and said the same thing, or would i be ok phoning many different times asking for a better offer?0
