Think that these might be in the past now. All they seem to want to do now is leave you hanging on the phone waiting and once they answer try to get rid of you quickly.

Just like NTL from a few years ago..............

The Virgin website is offering a new comers deal of 2mb for £10 / month for 12 months. A neighbour of mine recently (last week or so) phoned to cancel (I mean really cancel they are moving) he was offered BB for £10/mth.

So When I phone I should be offered the same deal (currently paying £18) plus std telephone line rental.

I don't have TV. So I should be looking for a deal of about £20 mth for telephone and 2mb BB yes?

Can I have the retentions phone Number please 0800?

If you have a NTL phone just phone 150

I downgraded my TV to freeview and got 2Mg broadband plus talk unlimited on the phone and 60% discount on calling mobiles so you should aim for at least that

I called last Friday got a nice guy called Tim. I only called because my old offers had expired so I asked him to put me on Freeview as TV is rubbish and without Sky anymore I'm quite happy with the basics. I asked him to give me anything else that was going. He came up with that.
