Are they counting 2mb as 4 mb now as they are upgrading?Thanx
Lady_K0 -
I got basically the same deal, it seems to be the current best deal. I just got
Size L Broaband (4Mb)
Size L Phone (talk evenings/weekends)
Size XL TV & V+
all for £45 a month. This is a lifetime deal but a minimum 12 month deal.
More than happy as we were paying £56.50 a month before for
Size M phone
Size L Broadband
Size M TV & V+
I did try phoning back an hour later saying my wife still wanted to cancel (not that she did of course) and could they improve it anymore but they wouldn't budge.
The children will be happy when they get home from school and find they've got the Disney channels and Cartoon Network etc. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

is the V+ box any good from Virgin Media and are they offering any good deals on that?
I currently have
TV XL
Telephone Line Rental
Talk Unlimited
Zee TV
BB (2MB)
paying £38pm. Can I get a good deal on the V+ box if I wanted it?
Even without the V+ box, can I better my current deal?0 -
V+ is an extra £10 if you have XL TV. I don't think they do any deals on it. I tried my luck and couldn't get anything better for the V+.
Personally I love V+, I got it as soon as it was launched (as TV Drive) last year. It's better than Sky+ as you get three tuners instead of two so you can record two channels whilst watching a third. That comes in handy if program start or end times overlap. Being able to pause and rewind live TV is useful too. In addition you get Virgin's HD content included, no use unless you have a HD telly however and it is limited at the moment.
I wouldn't like to be without V+ now.
You used to have to pay £50 for installation which I thought was a bit of a cheek, not sure if you still do or whether you could negotiate a free install. It's my problem, it's my problem

I got a deal when I upgraded to the V+ . Was paying £37 for L tv , L BB , and M phone . Wanted the V+ , phoned retentions . Got the TV upgraded to XL , phone upgraded to L , V+ and original box moved upstairs . No installation fee either . All for £50 a month .0 -
V+ is the best thing since VCR's. I have a V+ box downstairs, standard box upstairs, M BB,free anytime phone calls for £44 pm for life. I think that's a good deal. Recording on V+ is simplicity itself, and I speak as someone who could never programme a VCR properly.
The picture quality even on a SD TV is superb. Go for it!0 -
