SaverSarah wrote:Ooh Virgin and Sky have really p****d me off now! Previously in this forum I posted the deals they both told us we could have if we switched to them for all three services (to recap, currently have all six mixes plus movies, sport and Sky+ with Sky, and unlimited phone and broadband through Virgin – was Telewest).
Sky warned me that Virgin might lose Sky Sports News, Sky One and Sky News but Virgin swore BLIND that this would never happen in a million years. Now, of course, that's exactly what's happened.
Am very glad we hadn't got round to acting on their advice (being indecisive, pros and cons for each option obviously).
But now none the wiser with what we should do as we were definitely swinging towards going to Virgin for all three...
Ho hum!!
Screw SKY, at least VIrgin are acting as though they want your custom where as SKY's take it or leave it attitude stinks!!!Never pass up the opportunity to take a pee!:p0 -
Just got off the phone to virgin, they offered to knock me a further £4.00/month off my package. So it now stands at
Currently £58.00/month for
XLg TV
4MB Broadband
Talk 400
and theyve offered me it for £54.00. I told them Ive been offered a similar package with Sky for £47.00/month including Line Rental to BT and they gave me the number for customer relations saying it may take a bit of doing, but they should be able to match the price sky have given.
Is £54.00 a deal for the above?0 -

I dont mind (or at least i dont think) going down to 2mb BB. what does phone all day everyday include? does it include mobiles etc and is it called phone all day?
i know it includes calls to local numbers and national numbers at any time of the day, im nt sure what the phone package is called, also we were offered to double our BB connection to 4mb for an extra £7No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
