LBA followed by MCOL is far easier, (and, depending on how you value your own time, much cheaper)!
And you would have got all your money in one go.0 -
Cheaper too! Don't expect they like receiving them either, given the number which are now arriving regularly! I suppose it gives their legal department something to do now the customer "service" department has done a runner.0

just failed to make one claim (sent too late they said)
anyway, is there anything i can do about it?
it's a price match deal and it will cost me £72 X 3 claims
any idea please?0 -
If you agree you sent it in too late, then the only hope you have is to try and get the contract condition you have broken declared an unfair term.
Get some legal advice if you want to try this.0 -

Then you shouldn't use ANY cashback scheme. The blame on this one is entirely YOURS and was completely avoidable! No dealer would have treated you any differently if you didn't claim correctly or undertsand the t&c you signed up to at the time I'm afraid. If they did they wouldn't be able to offer cashback deals in the first place! THAT'S how they work!0

so they said.
but if u can prove they received your claim within 30 days of the required bill, then you'll have a case.
they have this 'fictitious' claim window where it depends from your connection date. but there's nothing like that with the t&c's they sent at time of ordering. so legally...
but hmmmm.... £72 x 3 = £216
some would say that kind of amount is not really worth the hassle & stress of going thru the court battle. true! but that is how retailers/dealers really make money out of this cashback scheme, at least 60% would get declined or won't even bothered claiming. honestly, when they designed this scheme, i felt insulted. it's like they're assuming 60% of brits are idiots. now, (to anyone), would u like to be one of those and let this sharks get away with it?0 -
I have just sent my last claim for my 12 month free deal to Crewe address as they did not respond to my email asking for their new address at Loughborough, I have checked the Royal Mail website and it was delivered to Loughborough yesterday, so I should receive my final cashback shortly.
I have no complaints with OSPS as I have received good CS from them inc a free data cable which Nokia do not even inc in their package and a £3.99 del charge refunded.0 -
hi guys,
anyone got a working cashback claim calculator for working out number of days for the claims??
this is for working out the price match deals...
many thanks0
