    Hi everyone

Has anyone had any problem with tesco recycle phones site as i sent two phones four weeks ago & no cheques & no points .Tesco confirmed they had my old phones.

    Thanks

Hi, Im having trouble with them too. They received the phone according to RM but have not been in touch, so I emailed them and they have not replied.

I called Tesco customer services and they said they dont have a phone number for them and cant help me.

    Very poor service indeed.

I have several phones to recycle. One needs a PUK code which I don't have (can't even remember which network it was used on). Another says "SIM card not valid" and won't let me access the phone settings. Therefore I can't reset the phones to factory settings or delete the contacts/messages/personal info.

What can I do with them as it will be a security risk to even bin them!

i sent my phone to envirofone and guess what they aint recieved it????

phone was worth 112 pound!!!! yes and supid me i didnt send special delivery!

makes you think what kind of company they are though!

envirofone or cashinmyfone are dodgy, quoted me over £190 for my iphone which was in perfect condition, sent special delivery next day and they emailed me to say the phone was cracked and as a result quoted me £88. Avoid like the plague and use fonebanker as I've never had any problems with them.

Has anybody had any recent experience with Zonzoo? I sent them my phone 2 weeks ago and it's still not been processed, depite their T+C's stating they usually process the same day & pay within 10 days!!!

I have phoned them up about 4 times now, spoke to 2 different women, neither of whom speak much English which makes the conversation even more difficult. I was told they havent got the phone to which I quoted my signed POD from royal mail special delivery!!! I then was told ''yes, we have it, its awaiting processing'' and nothing since - They are now blanking my emails. If they've had a huge order and are behind schedule, fine, I can deal with that, but the lack of response is worrying me! The phone was worth nearly £155!

Not impressed - never had any problems with Mobile2cash, quick response, great staff.... no idea who these jokers are who have taken over?!!:(

I'm really annoyed. I sent my old phone to mirrorgogreen who had valued it at £47. Now I have had an email from them saying the back cover is missing so it is now only worth £10.50. I am not stupid the cover was definitely still on when I sent it. Noy much I can do now though is there?

    Hi All

Thought id tell you about my experience with Envirofone. I have recently applied to recycle 3 phones, HTC Touch HD, Nokia E71, Nokie 5230 (or something like that). Becuase of the quantity or value i qualified for their Collect+ option. This meant i could go via the Collect+ site and drop my phones at a local store (no delivery charge).

My phones were colected and i received my tracking number. Quite happy so far. I check a few days later on the Envirofone site and was surprised to see my phones hadnt been received. I went via the collect+ site and could see that They had been collected and booked into a depot.

I phoned Collect+ to check on the parcel, they were good on the phone and have tried to track my parcel. They would also contact me daily to update me.

After a week they'd not managed to locate my parcel, i called Envirofone to let them know the situation. They were happy, could follow the Collect+ bit and have arranged my payment. They said they would pursue Collect+ and either receive the bits or arrange compensation. I didnt need to worry about anything else.

Could have got more money elsewhere but wanted a reputable site. Thanks Envirofone.
  • Bad Experience with RPC Recycle.

On the web they offered me the best rate for my Nokia N95. I filled all the online forms and two days later I received the letter with a package to send the phone on. I sent the phone via registered mail, as advised. The phone was received within two day and I received a confirmation email. Two days latter I received another email stating the phone was faulty and they would only give me 50% of the value offered on the web. I phoned to complain as I was using the phone prior to send it to them. The agent told me she was going to request the phone to be tested again. This time I received an email from a person stating the buttons were not working and they could only offer 50% of the advertised price or I could request my phone back at a £5 charge.

    Very disappointed with this

Really hacked off with RPC - sent my phone which was approved and they emailed to say a cheque had been sent for £25. Nearly three weeks later, no cheque, no replies to emails or contact form and the phone number on their website doesn't get answered. Have they gone bust?
    On a mission.
