  • Can recommend Mobile Phone Exchange. Extremely quick and efficient.
  • thanks for the replies guys. It seems from the general consensus that I should avoid love2recycle until more is known about the company and its success rate.
  • Just recycled a phone through Mopay so thought I would feedback.

Very easy instructions and a Freepost address to send you mobile to. The website warns it can take 2 weeks to process and then they send your cheque second class post so its not a speedy process. I sent them an email after I had heard nothing for 2 weeks. They replied back and said my cheque had been sent the day before. The cheque arrived 19 days after I posted the phone so not a very quick service but I am quite happy as I would probably have sold the phone on ebay for about the same money and had a lot more hassle.

Recommend them if you are in no hurry for your cash.
  • Just thought I would give some feedback on my experience with mazuma. Their service is top notch.

I placed an order online on tuesday to recycle the K850i for £41....received freepost package with clear instructions the following day (wednesday). Sent the item off, got an email on thursday saying everything was ok and the phone was working, and the cheque arrived at my house this morning. Haven't cashed in the cheque yet but I don't anticipate that there will be a problem.

I would definitely recommend mazuma - good customer service (constantly updated via email) and very fast/efficient.

Sorry I'm new to this, wasn't sure how to post replies

When compairing all the companies, I decided to go with Love2recycle and Mopay, simply because they were offereing more money than the others.:p

    Sony Ericsson: £35 + £5 Promotion = £40, Nokia: £45

Monday 23rd Feb i sent my Sony Ericcsson in the pre-paid jiffy envelope (sent by love2recycle) and Nokia phone in a jiffy bag to Mopay.

    1. Love2recycle
I received an e-mail on Monday 23rd Feb from Love2recycle that they have received my phone, but the e-mail never mentioned the £5 offer. I called them to confirm and they told me that the emails are generic and the voucher is for a month's promotion and is therefore not displayed in the email.

I had no problem with that as the woman on the phone was very pleasant and explained that I would be receiving another e-mail as a confirmation when the cheque is sent out, again for the automated amount.

I received an e-mail on Friday 27th Feb saying they are delighted to let me know the cheque is in the post for the amount of £35

I thought I'd wait to find out the actual cheque value is when I receive it. Saturday 28th morning post a cheque arrived posted 1st class for £40.

    :j I'm happy I got a cheque within 6 working days, now that's what I call a speedy and efficient service:j

    2. Mopay
I haven't heard nothing as of yet, but to be fair it has only been 1 week, i'll wait another week and keep you posted....
  • anyone else received money from love2recycle?

I recycled an old phone through Love2recycle and found them quick and easy to deal with. I also got worried when I got an email confirming the amount without the fiver but they quickly assured me it would be included in the total amount - and sure it was! In total from first contacting them I received my payment within about a week. I would recommend them.

Just some feedback to say mobilephonebuyer.net was a pleasure to deal with. Posted recorded, received next day with a text message letting me know. Few days later payment sent to my bank account - no waiting for cheques to clear.

    10/10
