I would think it's not worth the risk, some of these sandwiches are up to three days old.
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Yeah they are fine, my kids have one of those bags too and they have never complained about frozen butty's.

i get them out of the freezer when i first go downstairs, then i add them to the lunch bags after i have had breakfast etc tbh they are already half defrosted by then you will be suprised.

WOW i had never thought about freezing sandwiches, i have never even frozen bread because i thought it would end up tasting really dry. This is an excellent way to save money and time.

I normally take mexican chicken with cheese and jalaipino's in a wrap - will these freeze ok? Also i would normally wrap these in tin foil, is it ok to use foil in the freezer and will they defrost in foil ok without ending up soggy?

    Many thanks

  • Can any ham be frozen? I've looked in supermarkets on packets of ham and none of them say if they can or can't be frozen. If they can't, can the stuff you get from deli counters be frozen?
Dogs and Cats are better than kids because they eat less, don't ask for money... and if they get pregnant, you can sell their children!

    Hi clutternutter,

I freeze all types of ham including supermarket packets and ham from the deli counter. It keeps well for a month or so but after that the quality seems to deteriorate.

You can read more opinions on this thread:

Can you freeze prepacked Ham ?

  • Going to try this out. It will save the kids bread before it goes out of date as well as some of the cooked meats!

Thanks for the help! I didn't see that, but then I wasn't looking for it either, I didn't think about doing a search sorry!
I've been freezing cheese sandwiches for my husband but sometimes don't get time to take them out in enough time to put other stuff on them, and he's getting a bit bored of just cheese now!
Now that I know that he can have just cheese one day, just ham, and then cheese & ham, and then if he still complains, he can have a tin of dog food. :D (Only joking, that's not fair on my dog!)
