Sunnyday, your dog is a beautiful! How old is she? And what breed?
Churchie, you keep on posting if you want! Are you feeling OK with your rib? You're certainly coming across as being in a good mood, so hope you're as well physically.
Well, I was going to do some cleaning etc, but didn't quite get around to it. I actually went out to buy some milk, bread and bits but somehow managed to drive around for about an hour. I sometimes just go for a drive if I'm bored, but at the price of petrol, and me not earning, I should really knock that one on the head.
metherer, I hope you're getting to grips on the diabetes information you've been given. I expect there's quite a lot to take in all at once. Good luck with it, and don't let it beat you.
I'm off for a potter about, bye for now.

Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound:rotfl: Promise this is the last post for today:D Thanks for asking Snowy, I'm feeling really very well. The rib is hardly giving any bother. Slight hurt on breathing ( I'm being a big baby there:o ) and doesn't really hurt unless I cough or do a sudden movement. I have woken a couple of times in the night when I've turned over, but I think most of the time I just sleep through it. I think I've been very lucky and it was probably the tiniest crack in the history of ribs:rotfl:
There was a time I'd drive out into Kent if I was fed up. With the price of petrol, that won't be happening too oftenYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Churchie, you keep on posting if you want! Are you feeling OK ? You're certainly coming across as being pi$$y, so hope you're as well physically after that rough bedroom session which broke your rib.
Snowy
Well I wasn't going to say anything , but seeing as you mentioned it first Snowy
It's not raining here this morning. :T Going to visit the new shopping centre that's opened up on the other island for a few bits and pieces. See what the prices are like. Save going into the mainland if they are reasonable. Will put some artisan bread on when I get back & make some cereal.
Love your dog Sunnyday. I'm definately a doggie sort of gal, and not a cat one.
Sleep well. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
HI SnowyOwl, the monster (who is now sleeping:D ) is about 18 month ish we`re not too sure exactly how old she is but she is a large crossbreed.

Hi guys,
big gentle hugs to all those in need today.
Well it has been a good day today, the eldest is away on a school trip to an activity center and the other 2 have been a doddle. We went to the local market this morning and I managed to get DD a pair of crocs and a pair of pumps for £7 and so she is dead chuffed. I also managed to get a couple of new lunchbags for £8 and also the obligatory sweets - just to keep them happy.
My sis took them out with the dogs this afternoon and I managed to clear out the utility and two of the most disgusting kitchen cupboards before my bro and SIL arrived. I had asked them to look after the children in the event of anything happening to me (a couple of weeks ago) and after some discussion we have sorted this out. The next step will be to write another will and put all the arrangements in to place. They have been through so much over the last few years that I need to be sure that they will not end up in care and at least be able to stay together and have family taking care of them if anything happens to me.
I ironed the most humongous pile last night and am feeling quite virtuous that the uniforms are done and ready and I also got the paperwork up to date. Just got to fill in the tax credit forms and send them off, maybe tomorrow night.
I have been contacted by a firm of solicitors over an endowment mortgage I had 7 years ago and they think I have a claim on the policy. They are willing to do it for a 35% cut + VAT. Can I just ask is it easier to do it myself or let them do it for me? They are implying that it would be a lot of hassle for me to do it. I have not chased it myself as I sold the flat an cashed in the policy and really looked at the whole thing as a bad job that came good as prices had gone up when I sold. Enough to pay the mortgage and a credit card anyway!!! - never done the credit card thing since - won't again either.
Anyway, weather permitting I AM going to finish the front tomorrow (again) and plan to touch up the paintwork in the hall, stairs, landing and dining room. Also the fish tank MUST be cleaned out. I am also going to sit back and watch the men's finals - the first time in many a year I have not been working on a Sunday - and probably tomorrow night re-watch Dr. Who - how good was that!!!!! :T :T :T :T Cybermen at xmas to look forward to.
Take care all and have a good night,
