Annie, the directions we got are a bit vague.....from the docks, you go up the hill and when you get to the lights turn left....might not be the first set....it's at a school. Just checked, Mum's not online yet, she might remember a bit more.
I got the impression that it's close to the shops. I'll have a google and see if I can find out more, it's on the first Saturday of the month.

Sorry, St Mary's church hall, Cop Lane, Penwortham.

The directions are right, but it's opposite the school Penwortham Girls High school, and in St marys church hall. You're probably there already but i've just seen this.what a small world, and ANNIEBOOKLOVER you must live very near me:p :p:p

Hi Candy, well, in the end I didn't bother going. I need to put petrol in my car and as mum couldn't go, seemed a bit of a wasted journey.
So, have you been to this Farmer's market and is it any good?

Miss Twit's plans are off also, so she has gone back to bed. :D

    Afternoon all
The line is full of my 2nd lot of washing, it's very windy here so it's drying quickly.
It's been a wondeful week at work, the med room has been full of nosebleeds & vomiting, the old head & new head have been causing havoc, acting like a pair of 2 year olds & you know that feeling you get when you've had so much to drink you can't close your eyes cos the room spins? I've felt like that all the time & have done for a while now & I haven't had an alcoholic drink for 2 or 3 weeks now, lol.
I went to the butchers & spent £60 eeek!!! Still they gave me a free packet of bacon.
It looks like BIL will have sorted himself out somewhere to live by sometime in August, so that will make things easier, though it does mean I need to look for another lodger for September.
Big hugs for PP, Mrs Mix, Candy, Poppy, Janny, Hillstep, Beth, Jay & anyone I've forgotten.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Hello:D

I didn't think I was going to manage to get on here today:rolleyes: Just as I thought I was about to earlier, the doorbell went and it was visitors:rolleyes:  Lovely to see them ( a friend who moved away, and had come down to visit her parents) but a little bit of notice would have been good. She is one of these well-groomed people, and I'm......... not is the word I'm looking for:rotfl: So I felt at a distinct disadvantage for the first 10 minutes, then we were laughing so hard it didn't matter:D

After a miserable start the weather has turned lovely. Warm, but breezy. I think Wimbledon will be OK;)

Aussie, like anniebooklover, it was with some concern that I opened the photo. You fraud!!!:p there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, :T

metherer, I can understand you feel a bit overwhelmed with it all at the moment, but you'll soon get the hang of what works for you. I've a couple of friends who've been through the same. After a while they each said it all starts to fall into place quicker than you think it will. Take care.

mummysaver, glad you seem to be getting back to normal today. But:naughty: for not telling DH beforehand:D

Well the tennis has started, so I'll post this and save you from my ramblings. Watching tennis is OS isn't it;)

I have a good imagination, but that may be a step too far:rotfl: :rotfl:
I suppose I should apologise to Venus, I decided I wanted her to win so we know which way that's going to go:o Jamie Murray and Lisl Huber were my unfortunate victims yesterday:rolleyes:

Urgh, I just got absolutely drenched. Yes, i am the genius who spends £40 on a fancy waterproof jacket then leaves it in the car when its raining (it didn't look too bad when I got out!)

Anyway, I just bought two books called 'How to Win at Housework' and 'Is there life after housework' :)...because obviously reading about housework is going to get the damn house clean

Oooh Blairweech, is the one "Is there life after housework" the one by an American chap? If so I read that years ago, and it's very interesting, with some good suggestions. But doesn't do the HW itself:rotfl: Sorry you got soaked!
