reporting a 2kg gain this week, which has given the kick to menu plan properlyt for next week and get back on sw. I too had a rotten night's sleep - about 3 hours when if left alone i need 9 to feel good. Think I'm just a bit overwrought and need to calm down a bit.

Morning all, neighbours kids just woke me up with their blaring tv on  yes I used to have to get up that early with mine and the tv was a godsend but now that was so many years ago feel annoyed that I am up because of them, great start to the day:rotfl: :rotfl: going into town today, get the euros, having subway for lunch, turkey breast on a wednesday is def my favourite,OH is getting very clingy, funny how when you want to get going and fly off the time seems to stand still and it takes forever to get to the last day and off:rolleyes:

Oh my mother is on top form already bb:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: masses of emails have come through directed at my eldest organizing his day trips, sleep overs at nannys with all his cousins and the youngest has been told that no he cannot come to the theme park, too young, no he cannot sleep over at nannys, too young and no he can't go out to dinner with them, too young, they keep saying it is age related (cousins 16, their friends 16/17 and my one 15) that an 8 year old cannot come along with them (fair enough) he is not welcome as it were until the cousins return to UK on monday and then nanny is open house again:rolleyes: so from friday to monday son and I can go hang for all the others care and then we are welcome into the fold:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have got a good mind on monday when the invites start coming in for this and that saying 'no thanks, not welcome before ,not welcome now' but my eldest said I have to 'be nice':rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Me again - just wondered if anyone else has the Tanita body fat scales?
I was wondering how accurate you think the fat percentage reading is? My seems very high - I don't want to even put the number in (47% ;o() as it seems scary. It has come down 4% over the past few months which is cheering, but after looking online there seems a massive variance in what different sites say is the normal range.....

Lesley, I have Tanita Inner Scan Scales, which measure
    • Body Fat Percentage
    • Total Body Water Percentage
    • Bone Mineral Mass
    • Basal Metabolism Rate
    • Metabolism Age
    • Muscle Mass
    • Physique Rating
    • NEW Body Composition Reading Recall
    • Athlete Mode
    • And off course my weight :T
With the exception of my weight I cannot confirm whether these figures are accurate, but the once I used my dietictian's scales all the numbers were very closely matched, so I use them as a guideline. Since January my body fat has dropped by 6% for example.

My body fat at first gym review was 46.9 so I suppose it is possible  I was 15 stone 9 lbs then. (Seems so long ago now :D)

    Morning all :)

BB - I'm not posting a result this week as I've started back to SW and decided today is Day One and I'll use my SW weigh in results on Tuesdays. I'm determined to get the August challenge! :D

Victory - have a great holiday and don't let the old witch grind you down!

KPC - good luck with the interview(s).

    Catch y'all later.

  • lost 2lb this week, I would like to lose more but it's better than nothing I suppose. I just thought I would lose a lot this week as I've cycled at least 4 miles everyday.
