I was expecting a gain and a 5.4lb gain is was I got, harshly I thought, but a gain is a gain. I expected and deserved it.

yes it is harsh but you are trained in the loosing/gaining, you know what to do when to do it, how to do it and you will be just fine:D hope you don't have a week of hell starting sat and have a fab time instead;)

Fingers crossed for you KPC :T

Usual congrats and commisserations as required :D

I didn't get to class last night :( Was on hold for 39 mins with npower (they are usually much better!) until 7.15 pm as I had until 8.00 pm to fix my prices until March 2009. The up side I guess is my bills are fixed over the winter period.

My computer went wonky on Sunday and like a doylum I tried to fix it backwards way round. Reinstalled Windows XP which included SP1. As you can imagine it has been a delight watching the updates from Microsoft  and after all that I still went through chkdsk, disk clean up, defrag and ran an update on all my drivers _pale_ - I should have done them first! :rotfl: Just need to run a check on my registers and hopefully I'll be back to normal.

Off again then - Windows defender just finished downloading and running a scan so i better get to the next stage ><

GL to everyone and I wish you success in all you try this week. I'm not going to play catch up as people on this page are talking about tax *shudders*

Hey brill news kpc. All fingers crossed (Vix , it's a job interview:D )
    Good for you Lois:T
Ah granny..I would say my lips were sealed as to quite what it involved, but that wouldn't be strictly true.... and as part of the package, I also get to bring up the £1,300 at appropriate moments (to be determined by me) for the next 10 years:D . Vix, it would buy much purple, but not a penny is being spend on pleasure - it's all gone straight into other payments owing by OH. Our finances are not joint and we are going through the process of them slowing becoming so I guess, but OH needs to sort some probs in this dept first. And I'm helping him get straight (and stay there). Getting there...
Victory - have a great, if frugal time in spain. Hope your mother is not on 'top form'.
I might try and get that GL recipe book from the library bails. Although very happy with SW, it might have some good ideas I can use. Interestiing process trying to eat healthy, weight consciously, seasonally and financially frugally.
Very sorry to hear you have been so poorly poohbear: glad to hear you have a dd looking after you. It is hard when weight is affected my poor healath, as a numbe rof us here can testify. But you just need to focus on getting better for now.
Can't believe what I have just done: been out on my bike for the first time in 10 yrs:eek: . We cycled along the seafront. Bit scary, not knowing how my body would cope. It was fun and I did ok. I need to see how my body responds over the next few days now. It would be sooo lovely to cycle a bit more.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
